Sr. HR Manager

The Senior HR Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of Human Resources for our Aguascalientes, Mexico manufacturing facility, a 24/7 operation with approximately 1,800 teammates. This role serves as a strategic business partner to plant leadership, ensuring HR strategies, programs, and initiatives support operational goals while fostering a high-performing, engaged workforce. This leader will provide guidance across talent management, employee and labor relations, organizational effectiveness, engagement, workforce planning, and compliance, while championing a culture that reflects our values and commitment to creating a joyful, inclusive, and positive workplace.
Universal Accountabilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement People strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the plant leadership team in providing HR guidance and support.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the acquisition of top talent.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning and career development programs.
Teammate Relations, Culture and Engagement:
- Foster a joyful and positive work environment through effective teammate relations strategies.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance teammate engagement and retention.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance management process.
- Implement training and development programs to support teammate growth and development.
Compensation and Benefits:
- In collaboration with Total Rewards, develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Organizational Development:
- Lead organizational development initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive change management efforts to support organizational growth and transformation.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR-related matters.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws in Mexico.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in Spanish / English.

- Reports to Sr. Director Human Resources
- Close partnership with Plant Leadership Team
- Internally relates with all colleagues who require the services of their responsibility.
- Externally relates with Suppliers (ARL, Personnel Supply Companies, service providers required by the area).
Job Tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Work Environment
- Full time in office, no hybrid or remote.
- Will be expected to travel as needed to company meetings.
- Full time dedication (Work schedules that vary from typical business hours).
