We are looking for an Accountant to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Hawaiian Tropic and Bulldog Skincare for Men… just to name a few!).
 

Now, Let’s Get Down to Business

Reporting to the Controllership Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assigned tasks within two European legal entities (with their seat in Poland and Germany).

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

 

•  maintaining assigned General Ledger activities,

•  supporting Senior Accountant within the month end,

•  preparation of monthly recons of balance sheet accounts and cooperation with business and external providers (in the area of AR, AP, payroll and CIT) for the necessary follow ups,
•  preparation of assigned tax reporting (including VAT and Intrastat),
•  contacts with control institutions, tax administration, external and internal auditors and others,

•  take part in SAP implementation project,

•  building effective back up for assigned tasks among the team,
•  building good relations, effective communication within group’s companies and colleagues.

 
Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got? 
Ideally you will have finance experience gained within a Retail Company.

 

What we are looking for:

 

•    Master's degree in finance, accounting or similar field
•    Experience in a similar position in an international environment
•    Proficiency in English and Polish. German language will be a strong asset

•    Excellent computer literacy, including Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables are used on a daily basis), knowledge of SAP will be a strong asset
•    Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Problem-solving skills
•    Good organization skills and a willingness to learn
•    Teamwork spirit.
