Now, Let’s Get Down To Business
Reporting the Regional Vice President, this role is to provide strong level of strategic and operational leadership for the CEE business.
Leading a cross-functional team to execute our much-loved brands to the local markets to accelerate growth. Represent the company with major market customers, suppliers, distributors and external contacts and actively contributing to strategic direction and positive transformation. This position is also a key member of the European Leadership Team.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
• Create a vision for the CEE Market to inspire & embark teams.
• To lead the complexity of multi-market, distributors, multi-currency set-up across CEE with full P&L responsibility.
• To lead and transform our distributor model including leading best practice to ensure winning relationships and execution.
• Define and implement strategic plans & customers strategy that successfully review, and step change the CEE business performance to growth in line with the EU average across Edgewell.
• Deliver sustainable growth & business objectives, with specific focus on: Net Sales, Operating Profit, Overhead Reduction & Market Share.
• Develop and maintain relationship with key clients, distributors and partners.
• To build best in class execution winning market share in multiple categories.
• Dotted line with Hub Finance, HR and Customer Service including negotiating and closing on major contracts.
• Accelerate the eCommerce business whilst changing our go-to-market model in Bricks & Mortar.
• Directly hierarchical responsibility of CEE Commercial Teams team. Total population size of all teammates of circa 45.
• Evolve and implement a reorganisation initiative to develop capabilities within an updated operating model.
• An active member of the European Leadership – driving the growth strategy across Europe.
• Leading all organisational projects across the market including system implementation and leading with effective change management and ultimately drive engagement.
Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
This is a great opportunity for someone with significant Controllership experience ideally gained within a consumer goods/ personal care/ cosmetics industry. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s what we are looking for:
• Significant experience in highly competitive environment in Commercial/Marketing/General Management roles with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets. Has led a major accounts.
• Fluent in English Speaking with Polish ideally with Marketing and Commercial experience.
• Extensive knowledge & experience of Consumer Goods with specific expertise in Poland & Central Europe.
• Proven leadership & negotiation skills (demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to staff members at every level of the organisation.
• Competencies of influencing, adapting and organising. Positive and confident.
• Digital and eCommerce knowledge.
• Strong sense of ownership – results focus and making decisions.
• Passionate, inspirational, able to lead by example.
