We are looking for an experienced Marketing professional with great Brand Management skills to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!). 

 

Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
The Brand Manager Central Europe (CE) will be responsible creating brands strategies and execution plans consistent with European & CE business strategies, with the aim to maximize growth opportunities through the unique understanding of the brand, consumer & shopper dynamics. This role focuses on growth to deliver a high impact, insight based local brand strategy and excellence in execution, in line with European guidelines. This position will report directly to the Head of Marketing Central Europe.

 

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

 

•    Support the Head of Marketing CE to develop a market brand strategy based on insight that drives brand awareness & deliver effective promotional programmes for all key customers, trade channels & markets. Create the Strategic Growth Opportunity Plan in line with EU guidelines & CE ambitions.
•    Develop and own marketing plans that support the strategy of given brands. Create local market campaigns and activities that increase reach and engagement, educate and drive brand love and support volume, NS & GM target delivery.
•    Develop engaging brand campaigns that drives ROS for retailers and Edgewell and build Value Market Shares, executing the EU brand assets and adapting where required for CE.
•    Evaluate all key marketing activities (namely advertising creative, media investment, sponsorship and major through- and below-the-line promotions) and extract key learnings & improvement opportunities.
•    Develop and implement launch plans for global and local NPD initiatives. Manage the sell in of NPD to Sales and retailers as well as full launch plans including pricing, 360 marketing plan, promotional plan, sampling and development of the trade story with strong collaboration with Shopper Marketing, Sales & Commercial Strategy teams 
•    Ensure that targets for brand pricing, volume & value sales and profit are agreed for the portfolio and then met through effective cross-functional team working. Manage the marketing investment budget within agreed limits to deliver brand business objectives.
•    Monitor and evaluate competitor strategies and activities in market and provide recommendations to counteract of responses. 
•    Develop a clear activity prioritization by geography & segment across CE

Here’s what we are looking for:


•    Significant experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods, preferable in personal care brand marketing; shopper/customer/trade marketing experience &/or sales experience would be a strong asset 
•    Experience in developing brand strategies that grow brands, enhance customer relationships and entice consumers/shoppers
•    Proven track record in delivering excellence in execution NPD launches
•    Experience of managing A&P budgets
•    CE Markets & Commercial understanding – Business Acumen
•    Diploma or degree in a Marketing or Business-related subject
•    Highly organized with strong attention to detail, flexible, self-motivated, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization
•    Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and to build strong working relationships internally and effective external partnerships
•    Proactive approach and problem solving skills
•    Proficient in analyzing data, reporting and making recommendation based on data and trends
•    Fluency English & Polish is required
