We are a global FMCG company who owns a portfolio of well-known brands in around 50 countries. We are currently looking for our accounting team located in Warsaw for a suitable person for the position of Accountant for one of European legal entities.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Group and statutory (local GAAP) financial statements in an accurate and timely manner
  • Coordination of financial closing processes
  • Coordination of contacts with any control institutions, tax administration, external and internal auditors and other
  • Preparation of other statutory reporting incl. VAT and Intrastat
  • Ongoing supervision over internal control environment of the entity
  • Ensure compliance with all external and internal requirements
  • Cooperation with external providers in the area of AR, AP and CIT
  • Building good relations, effective communication within group’s companies and colleagues
  • Ongoing supervision over the introduction of changes in the Company

 

Our requirements:

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting or similar field
  • Experience in similar position (2-3 years) in an international environment
  • Proficiency in English, additional European language will be a strong asset
  • Excellent computer literacy incl. SAP, Hyperion and Excel
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to details
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good organization skills and a willingness to learn
  • Teamwork spirit
