We are looking for a great team player to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).

Now, Let’s Get Down to Business

Reporting to our Global Procurement Manager works with procurement category leads to enable category strategies by providing templates and sharing best practices across sourcing portfolios. Runs price benchmarking across geographies and categories to identify potential opportunities.
Prepares the data for the sourcing events (RFP, RFQ, Auctions) with input from category teams and other internal data sources. Executes sourcing events on behalf of the categories including analysis and recommendations.

This position is also expected to liaise closely with procurement category leads globally across multiple geographies and work cultures to enable category strategies especially sourcing events.  Additionally, this position will support the manager in internal and cross functional process improvement initiatives related to contracting, supplier performance management and global sourcing projects.
This position expects Edgewell’s ‘Future Fit’ behavior and helps in career shaping and advancement. 

Provides governance process for contract review and signing process including tracking upcoming contract expirations.

Also manages contract platform with legal and serves as a technical resource to global procurement.

And last but not least it refresheses supplier segmentation process (annually) and update scoring based on latest criteria and Tier 1 suppliers.

Key relationships internally will include Procurement Leadership team and Procurement category managers, Global Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Research and Development, Sales, and Commercial.  External engagement will include external service providers supporting Global Procurement and other functions

Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?

Ideally you will have similar experience gained within a consumer goods/retail or commercial company.

In addition, it would be great if you have the following skills and experience:

•    B.S. / B.A. degree in Business (or other related degree programs). 
•    3-5 years of experience in a business function such as Finance, Business Analytics, Procurement Operations or related field.
•    Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global organization with minimum supervision.
•    Strong Excel and database manipulation skills with the ability to create moderate to complex formulas.
•    Excellent Powerpoint skills, ability to present to all levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of relevant technology systems including ERP, SAP, e-Procurement, Spend Analysis, and Contract Management. 
•    Champions best practice processes, tools, and commitment to provide quality procurement products / customer service. 
•    Analytical Curiosity: Comfortable with and enjoys working in detailed data; logical, creative, puzzle-solving mentality.
•    Influence: Develop credibility and ability to sell recommendations at all levels of the organization; deliver objective, data-driven solutions with appropriate business perspective communicated in concise and understandable fashion
•    Ability to organize & guide project teams to deliver process improvements.
•    Ability to explore & evaluate broad potential solution sets and provide objective data-driven recommendations.
•    Ability to identify stakeholders and create win-win situations with other functions; ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional stakeholders and team members
•    Develop credibility and ability to sell recommendations at all levels of the organization; deliver objective, data-driven solutions with appropriate business perspective communicated in concise and understandable fashion
•    Ability to travel periodically (less than 20%)
