Move Forward: The Opportunity

We're looking for a commercially driven National Business Manager to lead our partnerships with Coles, Kmart and ALDI, representing an exciting portfolio of iconic brands including Schick, Banana Boat, Hawaiian Tropic, Bulldog and Wet Ones.

This role is critical to delivering sustainable growth across some of Australia's most important retail customers. You'll be responsible for developing strategic account plans, implementing joint business plans, negotiating trading terms, optimising promotional investment and leveraging consumer and shopper insights to maximise sales, profitability and market share. Leading a dedicated Account Executive, you'll play a key role in shaping customer strategy while working collaboratively across Marketing, Category, Finance and Supply Chain teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver budgeted customer sales, scan, profitability and market share targets across Coles, Kmart and ALDI.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and Joint Business Plans that drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and apply strong net revenue management principles to maximise return on investment.
  • Conduct business reviews and category reviews, identifying opportunities to improve performance and customer outcomes.
  • Manage trade spend investments and promotional planning to ensure profitable growth.
  • Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships across customer organisations and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing, Category and Supply Chain teams to identify trends and deliver category growth opportunities.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Coles, Kmart and ALDI Account Executive while fostering a collaborative team culture.

  • Proven success managing major retail accounts within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering commercially beneficial outcomes.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to analyse data to make sound, ROI-focused decisions.
  • Experience managing forecasting, promotional effectiveness and trade investment strategies.
  • Strong presentation, consultation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and experience developing team members.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and market analysis tools.
