Let’s Talk About You
We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join Edgewell Personal Care – a leading global FMCG Organisation (Our brands: Schick, Banana Boat, Wet Ones...just to name a few!).  This position is responsible for decision support to the Senior Finance Manager and Commercial teams in planning and implementing commercial strategies to achieve annual and long-term business objectives. It will establish and lead the implementation of relevant best practices, tools and systems in planning, performance tracking, investment evaluation, and on-going LEAN efforts. This role covers both Australia and New Zealand.

 

Let’s Get Down to Business
Here’s a sample of the type of things you will be responsible for:

 

  • Business Analysis, including providing customer and product profitability analysis to support business strategies and improve profit margins, P&L management, A&P management and
    deflator management (Trade Investment).
  • Reporting, including monthly market P&L updates and commentary, overseeing daily and weekly sales flash reporting and updating monthly financial presentations for market and international.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting, including providing lean templates and reports to the commercial team for the planning process, complete consolidation of both product and customer P&L budgets by segments and responsible for monthly & quarterly forecasting in Hyperion.
  • Training, Development and Continuous Improvement, this will involve training new/existing employees to enhance greater financial acumen.
  • Profit Management, which involves monitoring gross margin performance and AUP's.

 

Show Us What You’ve Got
The preferred candidate would ideally be CPA or CA qualified, and have a bachelor degree in  Accountancy and/or Business Management with relevant job experience in budgeting and forecasting, reporting, business analysis and deflator management. You should have advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, other MS Professional Office tools, Hyperion, and SAP. On top of that, strong analytical and product/customer management skills required. Prior experience in FMCG industry is highly preferred.  There will also be occasional travel to Auckland, New Zealand.
