Position Summary

The Senior Director, IT has a broad range of responsibilities in managing and leading several teams to deliver solutions across commercial and corporate functions (Commercial, HR, Finance, Custom Apps) within Edgewell along with anticipating, overseeing and prioritizing overall IT programs and plans in alignment with business goals.

In this high impact role, you will lead the IT Business Relationship Management along with directing the planning and delivery of IT projects and services to the business teams across the globe, while working closely with senior business management to help define the broader IT strategy and portfolio.


  • Lead global teams across applications, business relationship and project/program delivery functions
  • Define, execute, and lead the business solution strategy supporting Edgewell’s functional business areas, both from a technology and a business standard methodology standpoint
  • Collaborate successfully with business leaders to define IT project and program portfolio, annual plans and work with internal IT colleagues to execute against a projects and enhancements
  • Act as a change agent, seeking opportunities to challenge the status quo to meet business objectives – develop and gain support for IT roadmaps
  • Manage the area portfolio delivery in terms of priority, schedule, cost, scope and quality, while providing transparency to the business leaders across the globe
  • Lead multiple IT leaders across Finance, HR, Commercial and other corporate/custom applications
  • Establish and manage strategic relationships with IT and business leaders to ensure IT plans and development efforts are well aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with IT leadership peers in the definition, development, and maintenance of IT strategic and operational plans that support business objectives
  • Maintain an expert knowledge of business processes, industry trends, and IT systems to better communicate IT capabilities and support IT solutions development
  • Oversee the communication, development, and management of the IT project portfolio
  • Align with senior IT colleagues to ensure regular communication with them on projects, issues and priorities of the business
  • Engage regularly with IT leadership to communicate evolving business needs and identify trends that influence the IT project portfolio and strategic roadmaps
  • Negotiates with internal and external partners to ensure ongoing alignment of IT strategy and capabilities with business needs and goals
  • Plan and conduct regular governance meetings with business leadership to review IT initiatives and ensure clear communication of business demand and service delivery capabilities

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business Administration, with graduate degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years as a Director/Sr. Director managing applications, PMO, and/or business partnership functions
  • Experience leading global teams across SAP, Trade management systems, and other application portfolios
  • Experience leading business relationship function
  • Prior experience managing PMO
  • CPG industry experience
