Internal Audit & Finance Rotational Internship Program
We are thrilled to introduce the Edgewell Internal Audit and Finance Rotational Internship Program, aimed at ambitious and enthusiastic students eager to gain invaluable hands-on experience in multiple Accounting and Finance functions. This unique program offers an exceptional opportunity to work alongside industry experts, develop essential professional skills, and contribute to the company's success.

Position Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Summer intern primarily supporting the Internal Audit function while gaining exposure to Risk and Control, Treasury and Investor Relations (IR), Corporate Tax, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in a rotational program designed to cover multiple elements of the Corporate Finance and Controllership functions. This opportunity is based in St. Louis, Missouri, with a flexible hybrid office and remote setup. The intern will collaborate closely with various finance and business functions while directly reporting to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit and VP of Audit, Risk & Control.
Responsibilities
As part of this comprehensive program, you will engage in a diverse range of activities, which include but are not limited to:
Internal Audit
• Assist in testing internal controls and documenting results
• Analyze audit findings and propose recommendations for improvement
• Support the preparation of audit reports and presentations
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and provide support in implementing audit recommendations
• Develop communication skills to work effectively with and present information to management
• Demonstrate independent, original thinking in audit work
• Network with the business to comprehend strategies, goals, changes, and provide IA management with recommendations
• Perform research on industry trends and regulations
• Assist the second-line Risk and Control function with evaluating, monitoring, and enhancing the internal control framework to ensure compliance with SOX, company policies, and industry best practices.
Treasury and Investor Relations
• Compile and organize financial data for presentations and reports
• Monitor competitor performance and industry news
• Maintain investor relations contact database
• Help manage the investor relations section of the company website
• Perform research on industry trends
• Prepare KYC (Know your Customer) and Power of Attorney forms
Corporate Tax
• Assist with the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns
• Support annual/quarterly Corporate tax provision calculations and reporting
• Help with tax research and preparation
• Aid in maintaining tax records and documentation
• Collaborate with various departments to gather tax-related information
• Contribute to tax audits, as needed
Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”)
• Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and forecasts
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, assist with variance analysis, and look for opportunities for improvement
• Assist with cost center reviews and close process
• Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information
Preferred Skills
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Interest in pursuing CPA, CIA, CFE or CISA certification.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong communication (both written and oral) and presentation skills.
• Analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Interest in Sarbanes Oxley requirements
• Interest in manufacturing or consumer products industry.
