Position Summary
Join our IT team as a Summer Intern based in St. Louis, MO, working in a flexible hybrid environment. This role will focus on developing a “Copilot Use-Case Catalog” across key business functions, helping translate AI capabilities into practical, high-value applications aligned with company policies and acceptable-use standards.

The intern will collaborate closely with IT, HR, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams to identify, prioritize, and document role-specific use cases that enhance productivity, decision-making, and day-to-day work efficiency. This role will report to Lindsay Miller, Manager, Integrations, with cross-functional exposure to business stakeholders.

Core Project: Copilot Use-Case Catalog by Role & Business Unit
The intern will lead the development of a structured and prioritized library of Copilot use cases tailored to specific roles and functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leaders (Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Commercial) to identify high-impact opportunities for Copilot use
  • Translate business needs into practical, role-based AI use cases
  • Develop clear, structured documentation of use cases by function and role
  • Create prompt engineering examples, including “good / better / best” scenarios to guide effective usage
  • Establish “Do/Don’t” guardrails aligned with company policies, data privacy, and acceptable-use standards
  • Gather feedback from pilot users and refine use cases based on real-world application
  • Support enablement efforts by contributing materials to training and adoption resources

Key Deliverables

  • Use-Case Library: 1–2 pages per role outlining high-value scenarios and practical applications
  • Prompt Guide: “Good / Better / Best” prompt examples for each use case
  • Guardrails Cheat Sheet: Clear, user-friendly guidelines on appropriate and effective Copilot usage

Success Measures

  • Adoption rate of defined use cases across functions
  • Integration of use cases into training and enablement materials
  • Pilot user feedback and satisfaction scores
  • Measurable reduction in “blank page” challenges when starting tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) and their application in business settings
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical or process solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions
  • Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools and approaches
