KEY RESULT AREAS
The CPFR Analyst role is designed to enhance Edgewell’s forecast process and drive insights into the EBP process. The CPFR Analyst will be responsible for improvements to EPC’s short-term forecasting (LAG 0-1) and customer insights that will impact replenishment strategy in the longer term. Forecast improvements will be achieved using customer data analytics, collaboration with customer replenishment counterparts, and internal collaboration with Sales, Demand, Marketing, etc.
Through the CPFR/VMI process, the CPFR Analyst will manage the customer forecast at an item level with inputs coming from current on hand inventory, POS consumption trends, EOL settings for deleted items, feature plans, replenishment and safety stock strategies for key accounts, etc. The output from driving increased forecast accuracy will result in stronger OTIF metrics, ability to make more informed decisions around inventory, capacity, and resource allocation, and drive accountability and responsibility to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for EBP elevations to Commercial Review based on discussions with customer replenishment lead, at Demand Group Review and S&OE meetings.
- Accountable to modify demand plan forecasts within JDA for 0-1 month based on customer insights and account direction.
- Align promotion and feature assumptions with sales during Demand Group meetings.
- Elevate, Review, and Discuss any short-term forecast changes within Demand Group meetings.
- Utilize Vendor Management Inventory and/or Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment business requirements that are aligned with customer expectations.
- Partner with the Customer Replenishment/Inventory Personal to understand retailer inventory strategy and any demand driven events that will influence order volume and forecasts.
- Forecast modeling in JDA/VMI
- Inventory modeling within Alloy (or Crisp) to understand consumption trends, shipment trends, and inventory (WOS) trends to help make informed decisions to forecasting and financial outlook.
- Analyze inventory optimization strategies and identify trends to improve growth and profitability through the use of identifying and collaborating on retailer inventory strategies.
- Provide account level inventory and recommendations to mitigate markdown/reclamation exposure on deleted items.
- Conduct consumption-driven analytics to improve sales strategies and inventory projections.
- Ability to retrieve and analyze POS data to provide sales trends.
- Understand data and pull together recommendation to drive inventory
- Manage the Retailer’s Inventory levels at DC / Store Shelf and identify gaps closure opportunities to optimize POS and top line sales.
- Works closely with Internal Cross Functional Teams/Demand Teams to align on forecasts needs.
- Develop clear and concise communication for both internal and external meetings. Lead meetings to drive decisions.
- Lead collaboration processes to align on joint strategic businesses initiatives with Customers.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
