We are looking for a someone with Quality Engineering experience to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).

 

Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will manage all quality requirements and service for a production area of cartridge manufacture including Metrology. You will also be responsible for establishment, implementation and direction of efforts and procedures to ensure that requirements of components and products conform with Edgewell’s quality standards and controls including analyses of trends and associated actions. This role requires direct line management of 1-2 teammates.  If there’s one thing you’ll get here at Edgewell, it’s a collaborative group full of likeable, diverse and nurturing colleagues. Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got? 
You’ll have a real passion for Quality Engineering and will be looking for the opportunity to utilize your knowledge to drive positive business change. It would also be great if you have the following:

 

•    BS in Process/Manufacturing/Materials Science Engineering or related field as second education path after relevant apprenticeship
•    Experience within Operations/Quality and working in a manufacturing environment
•    Knowledge of Process Control Plans and process FMEA required
•    Strong statistics and sampling plans background
•    Good comprehension and a broad mathematical, physical, technical general knowledge
•    General knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application.
•    Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Minitab.
•    Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning highly preferred.
•    Ideally experienced in Grinding, Injection moulding and assembly
•    Advanced statistics and Six Sigma Green Belt preferred – a plus Black Belt is desirable
•    Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, ISO 22716, IFS-HPC, BRC-CP 
•    Preferably experienced in Internal auditing 
•    Valid work permit in Germany.
•    Fluent in English and German
