Position Summary

This position will be responsible for the project delivery, production support, maintenance and configuration of Edgewell SAP Financial Applications and Controlling (FICO) solutions, and related third party bolt-on systems globally. The Senior Analyst uses their technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings; plans and executes unit, integration and user acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Design, configuration, and functional experience in the SAP FICO modules are required.

 

This position will be hybrid at either our Shelton, CT or St. Louis, MO office

 

Accountabilities

  • Gathers, documents, and clarifies business requirements from the end users.
  • Collaborates with other SAP functional analysts to review requirements and develop possible solutions.
  • Ensures functional requirements are clear and align with business requirements.
  • Maintains existing system functionality while initiating new SAP features and other software applications.
  • Manages non SAP Financial Systems such as Concur for T&E and Readsoft for Invoice OCR and Approval.
  • Collaborates with business users in requirement gathering, design, and deployment of new or improved business processes.
  • Researches and resolves problems.
  • Tests business processes and customized functionality during SAP migrations, upgrades, etc.
  • Advise on the management of configuration and testing across the SAP environment.
  • Work with key business users to configure and modify SAP to meet business requirements using Best Practices.
  • Translate overall business process design established during blueprinting to SAP FICO configuration.
  • Help ensure a global solution using as much SAP standard design is implemented.
  • Work with legacy system team to design, test and implement data exchange interfaces for SAP projects.
  • Create design and training documentation.
  • Perform unit and quality testing.  Work with users to achieve favorable user test acceptance.
  • Work with rest of Financial Applications team to investigate and resolve service tickets.
  • Manage projects of small to medium size and scope.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • 4 + years demonstrated configuration skills in FI and CO, HANA highly preferred.
  • Ability to use project management methodologies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of the key integration points with other SAP modules and key design implications.
  • Knowledge of non sap financial systems to manage invoice approval and expense reports .
  • Solid understanding of accounting, actual accounting experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a Global organization.
  • Maintains a current awareness of SAP product developments and trends and how they can provide solutions for the business.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and MS Project.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Work Environment

  • Virtual meetings and schedule flexibility will be required to facilitate working with teams across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Limited travel, when needed to support projects.

 

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - 120,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
