Position Summary:

The Senior Digital & Media Marketing Manager is an instrumental and critical role that leverages digital marketing in support of building strong brands.  In this role, you will lead the execution of in-market digital activation and lead the overall strategy of the Shave  brand’s owned and paid social media presence to increase brand awareness, name acquisition, and conversion.  This role will also lead earned media, social and influencer marketing activities. This position will work closely with the brand team in support of programs and product launches to drive the success of the business.  Your goal will be to influence the desired behavior of the ideal customer and inform our media mix accordingly.  In addition to developing and orchestrating media plans, this role will help shape radical new ideas about how to go to market.  The focus will be on driving media transformation leading and inspiring the way for a digital future.  The ideal candidate is someone who is familiar with the breadth of digital channels, able to develop integrated digital strategy, and drive actions with measurable impact.

 

Accountabilities

  • Own the development and execution (in partnership with an agency) of activation plan across all consumer touchpoints including audience persona, creative assets needed, paid media planning and optimization to ensure it is meeting brand KPI objectives.
  • Recommend plan to achieve “Job to be done” goals, media spend mix and deployment to deliver awareness, consideration, and P&L objectives within activation budget.
  • Responsible for leading and executing with optimization the paid media plan within budget for brand(s) within the category, partnering with internal and external experts as needed, including taking input from both brand strategy and social leads into account.
  • Function as key liaison with agency partners to execute media campaigns across a range of channels including Ad Exchanges / DSP’s, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Google SEM, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of the category and brand’s earned media, social and organic influencer marketing plans including the integration of paid media and social selling efforts of the US sales team.
  • Provide strong oversight to ensure flawless delivery and frequent optimization driving ever improving ROI’s that deliver business goals of sales, share and profit growth. Be a trusted advisor and strong collaborator to brand teams to execute these goals.
  • Operate with a sense of continuous improvement to constantly improve performance of media, utilizing techniques such as A/B testing to optimize campaign asset & media performance in real-time.
  • Partner with strategy manager on campaign development and assets needed and leading adaptation creation, trafficking, and optimization.
  • Lead activation strategies and tactics to drive awareness, relevance and conversion for the brands in the portfolio and maximize ROI.
  • Champion of creating holistic and iterative performance marketing plans that will connect brand, media, UX and shopper marketing to meet the needs of the consumer & customer.
  • Determine DCO target strategy, lead asset identification and creation (in partnership with brand strategy), testing plan and optimize based on in market results.
  • Partner with commercial acceleration specialists (i.e., DTC, eCommerce, search) to meet brand objectives and drive ROI.
  • KPI setting in partnership with data lead; develop robust analytics and test measurement strategies.
  • Evaluate performance and success of all media approaches; present ROI of digital channels for new product and brand launches,
  • Lead the paid media partnership with EPC’s agency of record.
  • Meet with key partners, stay up to date on industry trends, and develop plans for integration of new digital marketing vehicles & new innovative techniques that enhance customer interaction in partnership with social / earned team.
  • Lead execution of all shopper marketing initiatives, inclusive of digital shopper and performance-related (ie CVS L&P)
  • As applicable, attract, grow, engage and retain talent through timely, effective, and consistent use of performance management, succession, planning, coaching, and other talent management tools.  Identify and drive participation in training, development and career growth opportunities for team members.

Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • BS/BA degree and a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with digital customer acquisition through paid digital, paid social or paid search.
  • Strategic orientation with ability to set objectives, analyze tactics and calculate ROI.

 

Desirable Education, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of ecommerce experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with digital advertising & eCommerce tools (Google Analytics, Ad servers, DMP’s, etc.)
  • Experience leading integrated media planning & activation, with a focus on paid digital, video, & social
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; experience working in a complex, dynamic organization and driving collaboration with various key stakeholders.
  • Motivated independent, self-starter that is comfortable in start-up type atmosphere and is willing and ready to “roll their sleeves up”.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and deliver thought leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
