Senior Manager, Digital Copywriting

This position will be working with the team responsible for driving the Direct to Consumer (DTC) roll out strategy to support Edgewell’s brands. The role will be working on copy to support website launches, ongoing copy for updates to the websites, social media copy, digital marketing copy and email copy.

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Own and drive the Direct to Consumer copy strategy across websites and digital media
  • Build and own the copy writing process with a focus on working cross functionally across EPC
  • Partner cross functionally to ensure processes and roles and responsibilities are well defined and actionable.
  • Identify key performance indicators to be implemented to measure copy success; use these KPI to improve copy effectiveness and the consumer experience
  • Help produce copy that is educational, engaging and establishes/maintains consistent brand voice and style throughout all forms of communication
  • Ensure accuracy of product information and price points
  • Assist with e-mail marketing and copy for e-mail and all customer facing initiatives, promotions or campaigns
  • Collaborate with the team to help create on-brand material for digital campaigns, marketing materials, social media, ads (print & online) and promotional activities
  • Adapt copy from existing templates for site materials, including FAQs, terms, policies, and help protect the business by ensuring copy has stylistic, account, and legal approvals
  • Work with marketing team to produce strategic copy for new category and product launches
  • SEO copy for websites

Required Education, Skills and Experience

 

  • BA/BS degree in related subject (Communication, Marketing, Creative Writing, Journalism, English) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 6 years of digital/ecommerce copy writing experience
  • Comprehensive and current understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization for SEO

  • Forward thinker who is quick to learn and adapt to emerging digital trends.
  • Past experience in digital marketing, customer research, and/or product development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in writing or for social media, content strategies and SEO platforms including blogs
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Exceptional editing skills required
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Operates effectively in a highly matrixed environment with competing priorities.
