Position Summary

The Senior eCommerce Manager will lead the strategic, sustainable growth and profitability of Edgewell’s Amazon business in the U.S., overseeing a high-performing team and driving a consumer-centric, data-informed approach to digital commerce. This role is responsible for developing and executing a long-term vision and plan for Amazon, managing cross-functional initiatives, and mentoring an Account Manager to ensure flawless execution and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned eCommerce leader with deep expertise in 1P and 3P models, strong financial acumen, and a passion for innovation and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Ownership

  • Own and evolve the Amazon business strategy, aligning with broader organizational goals and category priorities.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual and quarterly business plans, including assortment, pricing, promotional strategy, and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary Amazon business lead, managing Mass Beauty & HPC Senior Vendor Managers, Supply Chain Manager and Senior Customer Success Manager relationship in regards to negotiations with Amazon Retail and Vendor Services.
  • Oversee the P&L, ensuring delivery of net sales, profit, and market share targets while optimizing trade spend, ROI and iROAS.

Team Management & Development

  • Manage and mentor the eCommerce Account Manager, providing guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Delegate tactical execution while maintaining strategic oversight and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage Edgewell’s Authorized Seller Program vendor relationship

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Business Units and Finance to identify and plan Direct Fulfillment and other opportunities (i.e. WePay, etc)
  • Partner with Brand, Shopper Marketing, IMDS, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive integrated planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Content and Integrated Media teams to optimize SEO, PDPs, and digital shelf performance.
  • Champion omnichannel strategies across the organization, ensuring alignment between online and offline initiatives.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Lead Internal (weekly, monthly) and External (Quarterly Business Review) sessions, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including traffic, conversion, sales velocity, and inventory health.
  • Leverage tools such as Stackline, CommerceIQ, Profitero, and Salsify to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

Innovation & Market Intelligence

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, Amazon platform updates, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
  • Identify and test new programs (e.g., Amazon Fresh, Amazon Business, Progressive Shopping, tentpole events) to drive incremental growth.
  • Translate market insights into strategic initiatives that enhance consumer engagement and brand equity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in with Amazon or e-Commerce Specific Agency, in either the Health & Personal Care or Beauty space is required
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, trade budgets, ROI and iROAS analysis.
  • Proficiency in digital commerce tools and syndicated data platforms (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, CommerceIQ, Profitero).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

The salary range for this position is $144,000 - $216,000. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
