The Manager, M&D will be an integral member of the Sales organization and will provide thought leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of merchandising activities to improve sales performance. In support of the brand & sales teams, this role will influence cross-functional teams in the strategy and flawless execution of displays and special packs and will work closely with the commercial team to identify innovative and cost- efficient merchandising and shopper strategies to drive both top line and profitability targets. As a member of the larger Customer Engagement & Operations team, the M &D Manager will play a critical role in improving the way EPC shows up to the Customer & Consumer.

Accountabilities
|
o Manage all promotional and secondary packaging programs and activities (special packs, displays, racks & POP) including, but not limited to:
o Cost Management/Budget - actively identify opportunities to reduce display costs and increase display effectiveness
o Create budget rigor by leading monthly budget meetings with finance and brand partners to provide budget reporting/reconciliation. Meetings include Sr. M &D manager, Sr. Marketing Manager, and Sr. Finance manager. Actively communicate budget risks/favorability in support of overall P &L impact. o Showcase strategic thinking a to make financial decisions on budget allocations among customer teams to best support company goals.
o Serve as expert for inline merchandising solutions to drive category/brand share gains

Required Education, Skills and Experience
o Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business or Marketing related discipline. o 3+ years having managed complex project projects for a large CPG organization with strong analytical responsibilities.
