Pay Rate: $20/hour

Location: Shelton, CT (Hybrid)

 

Opportunity

Gain hands on digital media and marketing experience with a recognized personal care brand. This role will support the Playtex, Carefree, Stayfree and o.b. brands in eCommerce, campaign management, reporting and social media. You’ll gain brand level experience in campaign management tools and reporting used in today’s CPG market (i.e. Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect etc.) and be able to proactively support digital plans.

 

Position Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Digital Media and marketing, the intern will support a variety of digital touch points including:

 

eCommerce

  • Maintain product detail pages on retail websites (product images, titles, bullet points)
  • Manage, monitor, and report on Amazon brand stores
  • Report and monitor digital performance across top online retail platforms
  • Monitor ratings & reviews

 

Campaign Management

  • Support search related reporting and optimizations (retail search, paid social, influencer and online video)

Website Management

  • Assist with website migration project
  • SEO analysis and optimization

Social Media

  • Assist with content development and execution of content ideas by platform
  • Assist with influencer campaigns
  • Competitive and Social trend research

 

May also be asked to assist with ad hoc projects related to digital media & marketing. This role is 60% analytical and 40% creative.

 

Essential Functions

  • Proficient in Excel & Power Point
  • Interest in marketing research, collecting data and analytics
  • Problem solver with ability to pull multiple elements into a cohesive story with clear recommendations
  • Detail oriented
  • Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

 

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum Education - Completion of Sophomore year of college through graduating year.
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Preferred Major: Marketing, Digital Marketing, English or Related
  • Available for full commitment of 10-week program (40 hours/week)
  • Currently enrolled in accredited college or university in pursuit of bachelor’s degree in related field​​​​​​​

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Required: Excel, Word, Google Analytics or comparable experience
  • Experience with some or all: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok Reporting and other social media tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr)

 

Previous digital marketing experience preferred.
