Position Summary
The Manager of SAP Procurement & Materials Management will provide global cross-company process & application leadership and be the IT owner of the SAP MM, SRM, Ariba, and Master Data systems and processes within Edgewell. Scope includes partnering with Procurement and Supply Chain as well as internal IT functional teams to develop opportunities to implement and/or improve systems.
Functional accountability includes SRM, MM, LE modules supporting procurement to pay processes and materials management services including requisitioning, subcontracting, transfer processes, and Ariba Vendor Onboarding and risk management modules as well as Materials Demand and Supply Planning with the use of Manugistics system and SAP PP module. The successful candidate will help to establish and refine the global system template and should have the ability to consistently lead and deliver effective implementation activities in a timely manner to meet business objectives.
This role may have direct line responsibility for partner resources, the business functional specialists, and internal IT resources which will comprise the core team or may share in this role with an assigned Project Manager. This role will also manage and develop peers and team members by bringing them broader system knowledge and experience overall and helping them to come up to speed on implementation processes.
Accountabilities:
- Overall functional responsibility in the areas of Procurement, Materials Management, and Planning with respect to incidents, enhancements, and projects
- Act as the overall owner to define, configure and deploy solutions for the following key systems:
- SAP Procurement/MM processes used for Master Data, Requisitioning, Transit processes, Subcontracting, and Logistics Execution
- SAP Ariba Modules for Contracting, Onboarding, and Risk
- Manugistics Demand and Supply Planning as well as SAP PP MRP and Recommendations processes
- Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities and provide regular updates to business users and management team.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies
- Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT areas to ensure successful implementation of IT projects
- Establish ongoing knowledge transfer across team members and establish robust support model as well as delivery model for projects and enhancements
- Attract, grow, engage, and retain talent through timely, effective, and consistent use of performance management, succession, planning, coaching, and other talent management tools. Identify and drive participation in training, development, and career growth opportunities for team members
- Strong collaboration with SAP Finance and Business Finance teams to support the end to end procure to pay process
Required Education, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10 years of related work experience in SAP supporting Procurement/MM and Supply Chain systems and processes
- 2 years of S/4 HANA experience
- 3 years of people management experience leading global teams
- Experience with SAP data load tools as well as protocols for ensuring data compliance
- Experience with SAP MM, MRP, LE, SRM modules
- Strong knowledge and configuration experience with STO’s and moving inventory intra/inter company
- Experience preparing requirements documentation, design, and technical documentation.
- Experience leading blueprinting sessions around needs and processes
- Experience working in a global company supporting Procurement and Supply Chain in multiple geographies including intercompany supply networks
Preferred Skills and Experience
- MS or MBA Business is desirable
- Experience managing implementations and integrations between SAP S/4, ECC, SRM, and Ariba solutions
- Procurement experience background a plus
- Knowledge of Manugistics (SCPO) Demand and Supply Planning modules as well as PP SAP module
- Ability to perform with little direction and work with remote team members in other locations.
- Ability to work in a team -oriented environment while demonstrating flexibility to perform in multi-task situations.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing company needs and deadlines.

Work Environment
- Office setting – frequent sitting
- This job involves carrying a mobile device and may require some off-hours and weekend work.
- Able to travel occasionally to international locations.
- 20 – 25% Travel Required
The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $168,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
