HRBP to Support Global Finance

 

 

 

The Position:

This position will be the primary HR Business Partner to the Global Finance team.  This role interfaces with the CFO and his leadership team consisting of SVP Finance, Strategy and FP&A, VP Tax, VP Investor Relations & Treasury, Director Internal Audit and Chief Accounting Officer. The Global Finance team consists of roughly 230 teammates based all over the world, with key pockets of teammates in Shelton, St.Louis and Europe. This role will also have interface with the Directors and Managers of these teams along with the HR organization.

 

This role is critical to ensure the successful implementation of our People Strategies across the Finance organization to drive business and people success. This role will be expected to develop strong relationships with the senior leaders for these teams. The position reports to the Human Resources, VP for Commercial & Corporate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • With the Human Resources VP create and implement HR strategy and initiatives to create structure, business processes, performance systems, and metrics that enable the Global Finance organizations to plan and execute business plans though full utilization of talent.
  • Highly engage on all talent related activities, such as people moves, promotions, development and partner closely on developing high performing leadership teams.
  • Lead the tactical and strategic Human Resources activities for the agreed plan year with agreed metrics and measures.  
  • Provide direction and act as a catalyst, helping the teams at all levels to successfully navigate through the changes necessary to be become a unified high performing Edgewell Personal Care team.
  • Support the Global Finance to enable the organization to perform more effectively and efficiently. Develop key relationships across the finance team and other cross functional teams.
  • Work closely across the Global Human Resources team to ensure close alignment, direction and collaboration for the Global Finance organization.
  • Be an active and supportive member of the larger Human Resources organization across all of Edgewell Personal Care and develop strong relationships with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Rewards as well as the GSC HR teams.  

 

Key Deliverables:

  • Change Management:  Embrace organizational changes as EPC moves toward achieving its strategic agenda. Actively coach, develop and promote change management initiatives. Be a champion of our Purpose, Values and Behaviors.

 

  • Business Partnership: Build value-added relationships with the management team, providing solutions to workforce issues and offering wisdom and alternatives for effective people decisions and actions. Influence and coach line management in effectively managing talent.

 

  • Talent Management: Build organizational capability and bench strength, ensuring the right people are in the right jobs. This includes talent reviews, talent assessment, succession planning and performance development. Work closely with the Talent Development team to align strategies related to Talent Management. Engage and assess the talent across the teams and offer input, challenge perceptions, and provide insight on talent strengths and gaps. Partner closely with the HRBP for Information Technology to ensure alignment on talent moves, issues and opportunities across the CFO’s entire organization.

 

  • Engagement:  Build a robust engagement plans to deliver on commitments to colleagues. Participate on various local and global project teams that seek to increase colleague engagement and leverage our Purpose, Values and Behaviors.

 

  • Organization Design:  Constantly seek to evaluate organizational structures to optimize value. Ensure clear roles & responsibilities are established and clear lines of communication and accountability. Understanding of external trends, customer trends and changing priorities is key.

 

 

 

Requirements:

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of Senior Human Resources Generalist experience in a classic packaged goods, consumer products environment
  • BS or BA required
  • Successful completion of significant change initiatives
  • Strong talent management expertise, ability to operate in a fast paced environment
  • Supervisory and staff development expertise
