Legal Analyst
Position Summary
The Legal Analyst will support the Legal Operations Centre of Excellence (COE) focusing on legal and litigation management and the Group Data Protection Officer in implementing and overseeing the Data Privacy program. Additionally, the Legal Analyst will assist the Legal team with Compliance COE operations by leading the Learning Management System (LMS) operations and contributing to various special projects.
Position Responsibilities
Legal Operations COE
• Assist with legal tools scoping, implementation, discontinuation, substitution, etc. • Partner with IT on legal tools creation or setup
• Administration of legal tools (user access creation and maintenance, etc.)
• Administration of Legal spend and matter management tool, including monthly accrual reporting and meetings with Finance
• Support litigation management (litigation tracker, litigation holds, etc.)
• Legal hold execution (legal hold end-to-end management)
Data privacy program support & record retentions
• Privacy management tool implementation, maintenance, and administration (setup, user administration, etc.)
• Maintain the Register of processing activities (launching assessments, creating vendors and systems, follow up with internal stakeholders, etc.)
• Assist in Data subject rights requests (coordination with internal stakeholders)
• Privacy templates set up for websites or other marketing operations (legal mentions, privacy policy, cookies notice, etc.)
• Assist in policies and processes personalization based on available templates
• Partner with Group DPO, IT and Procurement on vendor assessment and onboarding follow-up
• Assist in Privacy program reporting preparation
• Retentions Schedule maintenance (updates, extractions, consolidation)
Compliance COE
• LMS administration and support (training integration, training campaign end-to-end management, training reminders, training reporting, etc.)
• Ongoing support of Code of Conduct training, including maintenance of compliance training mailbox and interfacing with training content providers.
• Preparation of Compliance COE reporting to internal stakeholders (presentations, KPIs, reporting preparation)
• Legal Intranet updating
Special projects assistance
• Global leadership or other company or Legal Team meetings and retreats preparation
• Tender process (compiling RFI/RFP responses, presentations preparation, etc.)
• Any other special Legal Projects assistance
Required Skills and Experience (Provide required skills, experiences and education)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience with legal and/or finance tools administration
• Experience with Office 365
• Experience in project management.
• The ability to work autonomously on recurrent tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently, prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple attorneys under tight deadlines.
Desirable Education, Skills, and Experience
• Experience with SimpleLegal tool
• Experience with PowerBI
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
• Experience contributing to successful teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and employees as part of a team.
Working Relationships (Highlight any key internal or external relationships)
• Global Legal Team, IT Team, Marketing Team, Finance Team and external legal counsel and agencies.
The salary range for this position is $56,000 - 84,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
