We are excited to introduce the Edgewell Finance Rotational Internship Program, designed for ambitious and curious students eager to gain meaningful, hands-on experience across key areas of Corporate Finance. This program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced leaders, build critical business and financial acumen, and contribute to real work that drives impact. This role is hybrid in Shelton, CT.
Position Summary
Join our team as a Summer Intern in a structured rotational program based in Shelton, CT. This experience is designed to provide exposure across multiple finance functions, including External Reporting, Controllership, International Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with an additional rotation to be defined based on business needs.
The intern will rotate through each function for approximately two weeks, gaining broad exposure while maintaining continuity through centralized leadership and support.
Rotational Structure
- External Reporting – approximately 2 weeks.
- Controllership– approximately 2 weeks
- International Finance– approximately 2 weeks
- FP&A– approximately 2 weeks
- Additional Rotation– approximately 2 weeks
Key Responsibilities
Across rotations, the intern will engage in a variety of activities, including but not limited to:
- Support financial reporting processes, including preparation and analysis of financial statements and disclosures
- Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and internal controls within Controllership
- Contribute to financial planning cycles, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting in FP&A
- Gain exposure to international finance operations, including regional reporting and cross-market insights
- Conduct research and analysis on financial trends, business performance, and industry dynamics
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data, support business initiatives, and present findings
- Build strong communication skills through interactions with finance leaders and team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in pursuing CPA or other relevant certifications
- Curiosity about the consumer products industry and financial operations
