Position Summary:

The Global Associate Brand Manager will serve a critical role in helping drive global strategy, brand communication and new product development initiatives in support of the business.  Primary responsibilities will include support the new product development process from consumer insight ideation to product delivery, generating creative assets to support the brand, managing the overhead budget, and supporting the annual strategic planning process.  This role will report to the Global Senior Brand Manager. 




  • New Product Development
    • Work collaboratively with Program Management to support the SBM in development of the suite of global product launches while owning select projects to lead independently from inception to launch, managing the stage gate process proactively
    • Work closely with the Product Development team responsible for the design, qualification and delivery of new products
    • Partner with Global Consumer and Product Insights (GCI) to proactively uncover consumer insights and emerging trends
    • Work closely with GCI and product development team to develop new compelling claims for consumers
    • Develop and qualify new product concepts and packaging designs
    • Initiate packaging briefs and manage packaging implementation
    • Support in development of brand sustainability strategy and implementation
  • Brand Communication
    • Support Global Brand Team in developing communication briefs for new product launches or new equity project
    • Provide support on advertising asset creation as needed
    • Support new packaging design initiatives on Global scale
    • Responsible for coordination of communication assets and sharing across markets
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technology opportunities in all areas related to digital marketing and social media
  • Budget Management
    • Maintain the packaging & research budget tracking documents and support broader A&P budget
    • Provide monthly updates of spending versus budgets and informing SBM of any significant deviances from plan
  • Business Analytics
    • Collaborate with Regional Marketing Teams to provide an in-depth Global assessment of brand performance every quarter
    • Responsible for analysis of global category trends and competitive activity, identifying key implications for the business
    • Facilitate sharing of best practices to Area Marketing Teams
    • Support annual strategic planning process


  • Special Projects
    • Periodically, may be assigned special projects in support of brand, segment, or business needs;

Required Education, Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business or Marketing related discipline;
  • 3+ years CPG experience having directly supported a brand in a global or commercial organization with strong analytical and project management responsibilities;
  • 1+ years of experience in new product innovation



Desirable Education, Skills and Experience


  • MBA preferred;
  • 1+ years of experience planning and executing digital and social marketing campaigns
  • Strong commercial awareness and familiarity with latest marketing trends and best practices;
  • Demonstrated working experience in digital marketing; driving results through paid and organic social media campaigns;
  • Experience drafting consumer concepts and agency briefs
  • Ability to conduct competitive analysis that identifies competitor strategies, strengths and weaknesses;
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented; ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and work effectively with team members and various key stakeholders;
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for improvements and proactively offer ideas for how to improve;
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects autonomously in a challenging, fast-paced environment while consistently meeting time sensitive deadlines;
  • Ability to influence without direct authority;
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
