Position Summary                       

The Digital Marketing Analytics Manager is responsible for digital performance advising, advertising campaign tracking and optimization recommendations.  This person will play an integral role in building and executing the digital marketing analytics infrastructure and cadence needed to create a culture of data-driven decision making.  This person should have strong analytical skills, but also the ability to see the bigger picture, how the data fits into the overall strategy and how that translates into actionable business recommendations and results. The Digital Marketing Analytics Manager will be interacting with several cross functional teams across the Brand, Performance Marketing, DTC, and eCommerce.  This role will be supporting the digital development of the broader organization, requiring the ability to explain new datasets and analytical concepts.  Most importantly this role will be performance focused and responsible for ensuring that we are investing and activating as effectively and efficiently as possible to achieve our business goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end digital marketing analytics framework (including but not limited to audience targeting, measurement plans and full-funnel reporting) with the support from media agency
  • Create and oversee channel performance dashboards, including summarized insights and recommendations around leading and lagging indicators
  • Consult business teams on measurement plans and provide recommendations to test and learn through advanced analytics and industry best practices
  • Analyze digital marketing impact to sales performance results across Pureplay (e.g. Amazon), Omnichannel (e.g. Walmart, Target) and DTC (e.g. Schick.com)
  • Monitor, manipulate and analyze datasets from a variety of sources to identify opportunities and optimization recommendations
  • Develop KPIs and benchmarks throughout the digital campaign lifecycle (plan, test, execute, measure, and refine)
  • Define and conduct A/B testing using website analytics, social, CRM/email, and programmatic advertising data
  • Present and effectively communicate data and insights to internal teams providing supporting evidence for recommendations
  • Stay close to industry trends and market conditions to support the continuous improvement of Edgewell’s marketing analytics approach

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor level degree (business, quantitative, or computer science preferred)
  • 5+ years of analytics, data management, or consulting experience with a focus on digital marketing and/or ecommerce
  • CPG, agency, or consulting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and build recommendations that are focused on business impact and performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across business and technical audiences, including senior leadership teams
  • Experience working in a complex, dynamic organization and driving collaboration
  • Motivated independent, self-starter that is comfortable in start-up like atmosphere and is willing and ready to “roll their sleeves up” 
  • Demonstrated skill in executing and delivering thought leadership
  • Strong experience with digital marketing and measurement, including proven experience with marketing report generation, A/B testing, and website analytics
  • Experience MMM, MTA or UMM modelling preferred
  • Experience with digital/eCommerce tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Ad servers, DMPs, Sprinklr (social engagement and listening), etc.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with least one of the following languages/applications: SQL, R, Python, Alteryx
  • Preferred experience working in cloud environments such as Snowflake, Azure or AWS
