Position Summary

As a member of the Global Rewards Team, the Benefits Analyst will support the Benefits Manager and other Rewards Team members on the administration, development and implementation of benefit programs, including health and welfare, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans in North America, and as needed for global initiatives.  The Benefits Analyst must be agile, able to work independently, and manage critical processes and timelines in the delivery of our benefit programs. 



     · Support significant benefits initiatives including, but not limited to:

  • Annual enrollment planning, communications, system updates and testing.
  • Well-being program administration and communications
  • Contribute to new vendor RFPs and implementations
  • Ongoing teammate communications (i.e. newsletters)
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis of program utilization
  • Retirement Plan administration and compliance (including 401k plan administration, funding, annual audits)
  • Leave administration (including vendor management, policy and procedure inquiries)

      · Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to resolve issues and ensure benefit programs are administered in accordance with plan provisions

      · Reviews and provides recommendations for improvements to processes, procedures, policies, plans (i.e., medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, costs and pension/401k) to reflect new and current programs as needed.

      · Supports company compliance with federal and state laws related to benefits including all required reporting, filings, testing, audits, and communications.

      · Responsible for benefits billing and funding.

      · Collaborate with the Service Center for escalations regarding benefits, appeals and policy inquiries   

      · Support company initiatives, such as acquisitions.

      · Administer company charitable matching gift program in the US, including participation in quarterly meetings with the program committee, reporting, funding and annual tax filing

      · Perform additional duties as assigned 


Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in US health and welfare plans, retirement plans.
  • Strong knowledge of benefit plan administration, and ability to monitor compliance related to ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, IRS rules and other government/regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of leave administration, including state mandated paid leave programs
  • Experience working with internal and external resources, including HR, IT, Payroll, Legal, Finance, TPAs, Consultants, Recordkeepers, Vendors and Government Agencies
  • A self-starter with initiative and strong customer/client orientation and communication skills; ability to facilitate discussions to resolve issues, obtain consensus and drive to conclusion.
  • Experience researching and resolving vendor integration file and data issues.
  • Ability to work independently; ability to balance day to day tasks with project work. 
  • Experience supporting small to medium sized projects and/or key workstreams within larger projects
  • Excellent team and collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience working across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced changing environment; strong sense of urgency
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and ability to proactively define appropriate work plans and processes
  • Exercise sound judgment and retain the highest degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen; Possess professional maturity and curiosity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS and Benefit Administration systems



Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Canadian benefit plans
  • Experience with matching gift program administration
  • Experience with HR Systems, including SuccessFactors, UKG Payroll and bswift preferred but not required
  • Experience with Global Mobility, including coordinating domestic and international relocations, and immigration. 



Work Environment

  • May require occasional travel, approx. 10%
  • Hybrid work environment, flexible schedule
  • Full time, hours as required
