Position Summary: 

The US Men’s Shave Brand Marketing team is looking for a strategic and driven Associate Brand Manager to join the team at a pivotal moment in Schick’s brand journey. This role is a critical contributor to the development and execution of the core brand business, helping drive growth, profitability, and brand health for one of the most iconic brands in men’s grooming.

 

As a key member of this growing team, the Associate Brand Manager will partner closely with the Senior Brand Manager to support brand planning, performance management, and flawless in market execution across the base business portfolio. The role will play an important part in bringing annual brand strategies to life through strong activation, analytics, forecasting, and cross functional collaboration.

 

We are looking for a self-starter, strategic thinker, and strong executor who is comfortable working both horizontally and vertically in a matrixed organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to influence without direct authority while keeping multiple priorities moving forward.

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to build foundational, general management brand skills, including P&L exposure, consumer insights, marketing effectiveness, and customer activation, while helping steward a heritage brand through its next phase of growth.

Accountabilities: 

Brand Planning & Business Management

·       Support the development and execution of the brand’s 4P strategy (product, price, promotion, place) across the base business portfolio

·       Assist in delivering annual and in year brand plans that achieve revenue, profit, and market share objectives

·       Support demand planning and forecasting by translating business performance insights into volume and sales assumptions

·       Track and manage brand budgets in close partnership with Finance and key stakeholders

·       Partner with Sales and Category to help develop compelling customer strategies and sell materials that drive category and brand growth

 

Consumer Communications & Activation

·       Support the development and flawless execution of brand activation plans in partnership with agency and integrated marketing teams

·       Help manage campaigns from creative brief through execution, ensuring deliverables are on time and on strategy

·       Function as a brand steward, ensuring all consumer touchpoints align with brand positioning and guidelines

·       Assist in developing and managing promotional activity in collaboration with cross functional partners

 

Brand Performance Insights & Analytics

·       Closely monitor brand and category performance to enable timely, data driven recommendations

·       Work closely with Consumer Insights and Analytics to understand consumer behaviors, competitive dynamics, and market trends.

·       Leverage POS, shipment, and financial data to assess marketing effectiveness and identify risks and opportunities

·       Serve as a go to resource for brand performance questions, ensuring strong command of key business drivers

·       Drive marketing effectiveness in close partnership with agency and integrated marketing team to ensure activations are delivering against objectives, and learnings from past programs are applied.

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

·       3+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably within CPG

·       Health & Beauty or Personal Care industry experience a plus, but not required

·       Experience leveraging POS data (IRI/Nielsen) a plus

·       Ability to be in office 3 days per week in Shelton, CT or NYC

 

 

The salary range for this position is $96,000–$144,000. 

 

Compensation for this position varies based on a range of equal opportunity factors, including but not limited to role scope, level of experience, relevant skills, education and credentials, external and internal benchmarks for equivalent roles and experience, business sector, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case. In addition to base salary, the total rewards package may also include, for eligible roles, bonus, and long-term Incentive.
