The role Supply Chain Planning Supervisor is the focal point for Supply Chain activities for China markets. Key focus of the role is to take full accountability of all supply and inventory planning, customer service, and warehouse & distribution management for domestic China.

The role takes full accountability to deliver OTIF, cash, and cost optimization to Edgewell China.


Here’s a sample of the type of things you will be responsible for:

Ownership of SC Planning for China

  • Act as a bridge between SAO Planning – China commercial; identify supply capacity plans/ issues and resolutions
  • Lead weekly S&OE meetings to review actual sales, demand and supply ensuring the 3 syncs with the latest requirements
  • Quarterly supply parameters review and update in the system
  • Accountable for developing a firm Inventory plan for the short- middle term and achieving Inventory goals by balancing production/supply with demand forecast. Monthly inventory reporting and review with root cause analysis. Act as a focal point to minimize SLOBs


Customer and Consumer

  • Own and improve China's customer service levels. Identify and resolve internal and external issues impacting service levels. Propose issue resolution and drive implementation of corrective actions
  • Lead the China Customer Service action plan. Improve activity planning, service levels, developing corrective action plans to meet customers’ expectations, ensuring stock availability, and identifying supply chain opportunities
  • Coordinate the resolution of all customer service issues and non-conformances in a timely manner. Work with Supply Chain Manager to resolve and implement corrective action
  • Maintain, Measure and Report against Key Customer Service metrics
  • Ensure communications between Customer Service and other Departments are clear and concise, and the flow leads to improved interdepartmental relationships


Warehouse and Distribution

  • Responsible for managing the market warehouse(s), in line with Edgewell company policies. Ensure that standard procedures are properly maintained at warehouses.
  • Manage the performance of the 3rd party W&D service provider to achieve the agreed task & KPI target, publish KPI report and follow up the corrective action, including but not limited to: monitor inventory accuracy, on-time goods receiving and dispatching, compliance on local country requirements/ shipment of Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials, etc.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual W&D budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances against budget; initiating corrective actions.
  • Lead in the contract review, 3rd party W&D service provider performance review
  • Lead implementation on suitable best practices related to warehousing, co-packing, transportation, and distribution improvement projects in the market.
  • Provide and implement initiatives on local Cost Improvement Program (CIP), track / report the progress and financial results.


SAP Subject Matter Expert

  • Ownership of SD model in SAP and responsible for all IT issues related to customer service and W&D activities
  • Processing manual orders and responsible for accurate and timely processing of automated customer orders (EDI System). Issues management and problem-solving where required
  • Responsible for training, supervision, coaching, and leading the customer service team and W&D team on all IT or other relative areas

We’ll need you to be comfortable taking the reins and guiding your colleagues along the way. We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 Years in Inventory control, Cust. Service and Logistics Leadership level
  • Proven capability in Inventory management/optimization
  • Familiar with order to cash, warehouse, and distribution process
  • Continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Order / Data Entry / SAP/ EDI order management
  • Familiar with accounting processes
  • 3rd Party Logistics management skills
  • Analytical and logical thinking is mandatory for data and root cause analysis to perform appropriate actions.
  • Having a proactive and business-oriented attitude to be a problem solver.
