Position Summary

The CPFR Analyst is responsible for managing collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes with key customers to improve product availability, service levels, inventory management, and overall supply chain performance. This role works closely with customers and cross-functional teams, including Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Marketing, and BI, to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment between customer demand and business objectives.

Additionally, the CPFR Analyst coordinates local co-packing activities, ensuring production plans are executed efficiently from component availability through final product delivery. The role supports purchase order management, production scheduling, forecast alignment, and co-packer performance monitoring to ensure product availability and operational effectiveness.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and execute the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) process with assigned key customers to improve supply chain performance, customer satisfaction, and sales growth.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to align forecasts, inventory targets, replenishment plans, and service level objectives.
  • Analyze sell-out trends, customer forecasts, inventory levels, and replenishment requirements to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain statistical forecasting models at SKU level, validating assumptions and identifying deviations from historical trends and market dynamics.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including Product Availability, Fill Rate, OTIF, Days of Inventory, Forecast Accuracy, and Returns.
  • Manage forecast variances, stock-outs, overstocks, and inventory exceptions to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer service performance.
  • Develop replenishment plans and communicate supply risks, opportunities, and inventory recommendations to Commercial, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Logistics teams.
  • Define optimal inventory policies and target days of stock in collaboration with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Sales teams to ensure flawless execution of customer replenishment and service plans.
  • Ensure promotional activities, seasonal events, commercial initiatives, and new product launches are accurately reflected in customer forecasts and incorporated into the S&OP process.
  • Support product lifecycle management activities by ensuring new product introductions and product discontinuations are properly reflected in customer systems and forecasting processes.
  • Generate and maintain performance reports, dashboards, scorecards, and business analyses to provide actionable insights to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track promotional and seasonal performance, adjusting forecasts as required and providing visibility of risks and opportunities throughout execution.
  • Conduct regular catalog reviews to ensure optimal assortment and product availability.
  • Perform periodic store visits to validate product availability, inventory conditions, promotional execution, and customer opportunities at the point of sale.
  • Monitor and manage fixed stock, phantom inventory, and inventory discrepancies, providing visibility and recommendations to replenishment and supply teams.
  • Coordinate local co-packing activities, including purchase order creation, production planning follow-up, component availability validation, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Perform market and customer-specific analyses, including seasonal dispersion analysis, to support commercial and supply chain decision-making.

 Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in CPFR, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Collaboration, Buying, or related Supply Chain roles within multinational consumer goods companies.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, replenishment planning, and supply chain processes.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with data analysis and database management.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain operations.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Experience managing CPFR, replenishment, forecasting, or customer collaboration processes with major modern trade retailers, preferably Walmart.
  • Experience working with Walmart systems and tools, including Retail Link and related customer collaboration platforms.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with co-packing operations and external manufacturing partners.
  • Experience in the consumer goods industry and modern trade channels.
