We’re looking for someone with strong marketing experience and people management skills to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men and recently acquired Jack Black… just to name a few!).
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
You will be reporting to the Head of Hub Marketing & Category Development and you will lead a small team working to develop and implement strategies and brand plans consistent with the International business strategy plan. You will maximize the growth opportunities for the segment through a unique understanding of the brand and consumer dynamics in South Europe Hub.
This role forms part of the European-wide Marketing team, with a specific focus on market-level activation for South Europe.  If there’s one thing you’ll get here at Edgewell, it’s a collaborative group full of likeable, diverse, and nurturing colleagues. Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

•    Brand Planning: create annual brand plans delivering consumer, portfolio, market share and profit objectives, and in line with global strategy.
•    Strategic Planning: identify sources of growth for South Europe, map out relevant roadmap for South Hub.
•    Brand Vision: Develop and agree the marketing vision for the brand portfolio consistent with the agreed business vision. 
•    Develop, gain approval, and implement launch plans for New Product Development (NPD) 
•    Manage the local communication of NPD to the Commercial Team as well as full launch plans including pricing recommendation, 360 marketing plans, promotional plans, sampling
•    Advertising and Promotional activities development: Where appropriate lead marketing agency groups to deliver high impact, sales generating activities.
•    Creative Development: Manage local market adaptation & legal approval of Global communication toolkit (incl. TV copy). 
•    People Management: Manage the personal development and day to day delivery of direct reports to maximize their value and learning.
•    Digital Transformation: Work closely with the International Digital Marketing team to optimize digital media plans and optimize Return On Investment. 

Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got? 
Ideally you will have extensive Marketing and people management experience gained within a consumer goods or cosmetics business.

In addition, it would be great if you have the following skills and experience:

•    Graduate level or equivalent in commercial/ marketing related subject– essential.
•    Significant strategic level of marketing, brand experience within FMCG (Consumer Goods), and digital transformation 
•    Solid evidence of managing budgets with multiple agencies to develop 360 brand campaigns including: Advertising, Digital/ Social activation, Press/ Influencers.
•    Experience of managing New Product Development launches.
•    People management experience- desirable
•    Strong project management experience and skills.
•    Excellent communication and influencing skills.
