We are looking for an experienced Commercial Leader to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).

As the Head of Sales, you’ll lead the Commercial Strategy to turnaround the business for an accelerated growth ahead of the market in this pivotal leadership role. We are looking for a rock star that fosters a high-performance culture and will be accountable for identifying and maximising the potential of the market. This position requires a strategic thinker with robust industry knowledge, exceptional leadership capabilities and a proven track record in driving commercial success within the FMCG sector.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
• Planning, local & international annual trade negotiations, promotional plans, customer category management, customer contribution target for the market’s entire product portfolio in the mass distribution channel, consistently driving growth and excellence in execution. Lead the Key Accounts team and the Field Force team. Contribute to the overall strategy and development of France and be a member of the French Leadership Team.
• Results Driven: Maximising the capabilities of the Sales Team and drive business growth.
• Decision Making: Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make sound judgements under pressure
• Commercial Acumen: Oversee Joint Business Plans and negotiations.
• Strive for world class execution in store to support the overall performance of the market.
• Collaborative approach –Build strong partnerships internally and externally.
• Integrated Business Planning, to deliver excellence in financial & forecasting accuracy.
• Develop KPIs for all agreed metrics, including volume, net sales, promo sales, gross margin, profit, share, distribution, ranging, pricing, space display, sales efficiency etc…
• Build multi-level and multi-functional contacts with all major customers to raise the profile of the Edgewell brands. Develop and implement account strategies that will in turn secure genuine account buy-in to joint business plans to secure transformational growth.
• Project Customer/Channel gross profit and loss (volumes, revenues and gross margin) and submit for annual business planning. Develop an accurate sales forecast and ensure that account managers maintain effective communication with Demand Planning and Brand teams to deliver agreed sales and operation planning targets.
• Motivate, develop and align the capability of the commercial team and wider team to the business’ needs. Identify and develop successors to key roles, agree annualised goals with team members and outsourced provider and manage performance.
• Create the conditions for enhanced internal cross-functional teamwork in order to drive performance through a winning mindset

We are seeking a candidate with a robust background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, who brings proven leadership and management capabilities to drive team performance and business outcomes.
The ideal individual will possess a well-established customer network, enabling strong relationship-building and market penetration. A solid foundation in financial acumen is essential to support data-driven decision-making and budgetary oversight.
Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate strategic planning expertise, with the ability to align long-term vision with actionable goals that support sustainable growth.
While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love it when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s what we are looking for:
• Significant leadership sales experience gained in FMCG multi-national business
• Senior Key Accounts management experience
• Senior Field Sales Force management experience
• Solid working knowledge of Health and Beauty or Household sector - desirable
• Computer literate (essential) Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills
• Proven strategic abilities
• University degree or equivalent in commercial related subject.
• Significant personal presence and credible communicator
