We are looking for someone who is passionate and experienced in Sustainability to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
 
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability and Affairs, your role will be to support the strategic plan (aligned with our global initiatives) that will accelerate Europe’s sustainability growth. This includes supporting our sustainability ambitions and metrics across the business (including Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG). If there’s one thing, you’ll get here at Edgewell, it’s a collaborative group full of likeable, diverse and nurturing colleagues. They’re an inspiring bunch. 

 

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:


•    Championing sustainability internally and externally across Europe.
•    Work closely with the Global Sustainability team to drive and support the global agenda across Europe.
•    Partner with third party providers to define the corporate affairs and communication strategy for Europe.
•    Lead and maintain an active community across Europe to educate, share ideas, foster innovation and lead the change in behaviours
•    Share sustainable practices internally and across all our brands.
•    Lead the implementation of the organisation’s Sustainability goals to enhance goodwill and positive coverage for the organisation.
•    Proactively manage and monitor legislation requirements related to environmental, social issues as well as ESG disclosure requirements.
•    Collaborate with customers to ensure we are surprising and delighting, exceeding their exceptions with aligned common sustainability goals.
•    Work alongside our Marketing Community to ensure sustainability initiatives are at the forefront of all our brand plans.
•    Support the development and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes.
•    To support our commercial teams in fostering an environment for excellence, effectiveness, and continuous learning in sustainability.
 


Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
We’re looking for some with experience in Sustainability, ideally gained within a Consumer Goods company. This role could be based in one of our European office locations and will be offered as a fixed term contract. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.

 

Here’s what we are looking for:


•    Passion, knowledge and experience within sustainability.
•    Experience in planning, supporting and championing sustainability initiatives with knowledge ofcurrent business best practice.
•    Experience of EU customer collaboration.
•    Curious about sustainability and being prepared to push the boundaries to challenge possibilities
•    Be able to analyze data and identify deep insights that can be used to inform future ecommerce strategies and opportunities.
•    Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Can grow relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
