Position Summary

Responsible for delivering manufacturing training on the production floor.  This position is responsible for training in Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s), leading On the Job (OJT) training, monitoring compliance and assisting with documentation.


Essential Functions

  • Deliver training in one-on-one settings, On the Job settings and in the classroom on a variety of topics.
  • Develop training materials, to include: SOP’S, Work Instructions, Forms, Assessments, ETC.
  • Train colleagues on SOP’s, training materials and all applicable processes according to their job task and corresponding curricula.
  • Lead On the Job Training (OJT) activities.
  • Data entry and other functions in the Learning Management System as required.
  • Revise documentation in the document control system to include but not limited to: SOP’s, OJT’s, Work Instructions, Forms, Assessments, etc.
  • Monitor training compliance within the organization.
  • Constantly stay attuned with training needs, development and implementation of training activities and completion of on-going assessments/certifications.
  • Prepare training documentation.
  • Perform required audits to include but not limited to SOP binders, training completion report, etc.
  • Follow all EPC Policies, Procedures, Safety/Environmental, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulation guidelines. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing facility
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Experience in an FDA regulated environment
  • Job hours may be adjusted based on business needs 
  • Ability to learn the Document Control System (PLM) and the LMS (Learning Management System) and use them proficiently.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English, and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with MS-Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to work across functions
  • Strong organizational skills



Preferred Skills

  • Experience with liquid compounding and batching, liquid fill production, and FDA regulated facility strongly preferred


Working Relationships

  • Edgewell teammates, contractors and regulatory agencies


Work Environment

  • After training has been completed the person is expected to cover their assigned shift.
  • Off shift and weekend work may be required.
  • Exposure to health risks or conditions that may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
