Position Summary:

The Technician role assists R&D staff in executing project related work in the areas of laboratory testing, product/process trials, prototype development, filling product , management of material inventory, equipment maintenance and compliance with good laboratory and documentation practices.



  • Execute testing and record raw data results consistent with good record keeping procedures.
  • Write reports, reviews, and summaries of tests and experiments performed. Present results and findings to key stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with relevant laboratory test methods, equipment and industry standards.
  • Install and maintain laboratory test equipment.
  • Calibrate laboratory test equipment.
  • Assists in the manufacturing of both lab and pilot scale batches of product.
  • Assists in cleaning lab and pilot scale equipment.
  • Assists in filling product in packaging for various studies.
  • Manages consumable and raw material inventory.
  • Conduct all activities consistent with company and departmental policies and procedures.


 Required Education, Skills and Experience


  • Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)


Desirable Education, Skills and Experience


  • Associate’s Degree
  • Basic understanding of Good Laboratory Practices/Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Relevant practical laboratory work experience.
  • Hands on manufacturing/mechanical experience.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic planning, organizing and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with PC and software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel)
