In this role, you will be part of the global procurement team, responsible for preparing analyses and reports across various commodities and categories of both direct and indirect procurement. You will work with procurement information systems (SAP, etc.) and help establish processes at a global level. In this position, you will report to the Global Procurement Manager (Center of Excellence).

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting strategic commodity leaders
  • Developing and sharing best practices and procurement processes across categories/commodities
  • Benchmarking prices across geographical regions and categories to identify potential opportunities
  • Preparing data and evaluating e-sourcing (RFP, RFQ, Auctions) projects
  • Contract management and administration (ensuring standardized supplier contract management processes, creating templates, ensuring contract signing processes including tracking contract expiration)
  • Supplier performance management (defining processes, supplier development)
  • Managing supplier segmentation processes and updating evaluations based on the latest criteria

 

What we expect from you:

  • Secondary or university education
  • Relevant experience in procurement or a related field – suitable also for university graduates with work experience gained during studies
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and commercial/contract law
  • Strong analytical skills and results-oriented mindset
  • Experience in cross-functional communication within a global organizational structure
  • Good PC skills (MS Excel; SAP knowledge is required)
  • English language proficiency at B2 level; excellent Czech language skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, flexibility, independence, reliability, and a team-player mindset
