Position Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, (CMO) the Senior Manager, Brand Capabilities will lead the creation, implementation, and evolution of Edgewell Personal Care’s approach to building and expressing brands. This role is responsible for developing frameworks, tools, and training programs that elevate brand-building excellence across the organization. Acting as both a coach and a consultant, the ideal candidate brings deep marketing experience, a passion for capability building, and a collaborative mindset to inspire and empower teams globally.
This leader will also serve as a thought leader within the organization—constantly pushing the boundaries of how we think about brand building, learning, and development—and will play a key role in partnering with agencies and cross-functional teams to continually raise the bar on brand performance and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Development Frameworks: Define and evolve the “EPC way” of brand building—creating scalable models and tools that guide how brands are positioned, developed, and brought to life.
- Capability Building & Thought Leadership: Design and lead ongoing training programs (e.g., brand strategy, consumer insight, creative briefing) that elevate the marketing function’s ability to build breakthrough brands. Act as a champion of innovation and thought leadership, identifying emerging trends, new methodologies, and external inspiration to strengthen Edgewell’s marketing capabilities.
- Internal Consulting: Partner with business units and brand teams to apply brand-building models to real-world challenges—such as addressing barriers to usage, improving relevance, or enhancing communication effectiveness.
- Best Practice Integration: Bring in global marketing best practices, thought leadership, and guest speakers to keep the organization inspired, informed, and ahead of the curve.
- Measurement, Improvement & Agency Management: Assess the impact of training and capability efforts; continuously refine programs based on feedback and business outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to strengthen brand stewardship, improve creative processes, and elevate overall agency performance and collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Work closely with marketing, insights, innovation, and commercial teams to embed brand development thinking across the full brand lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- At least 8 years’ in brand management, marketing strategy, or capability development—preferably within CPG or global consumer brands.
- Experience developing and deploying brand frameworks, playbooks, or training initiatives at scale.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated success in coaching or consulting brand teams to solve business challenges using strategic marketing approaches.
- Passion for growing people, building brands, and bringing fresh ideas into the organization.
The salary range for this position is $144,000 - $186,000. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
