Billie is on the lookout for a dynamic and visionary Head of Creative and Production! In this role, you’ll lead and evolve our creative and production functions—shaping brand storytelling that’s culturally relevant, visually striking, and strategically aligned with our business goals.

What you’ll do:

Inspire and manage a multidisciplinary in-house creative team across design, copy, production, and project management, sourcing and managing supplemental freelance talent as needed.

In collaboration with Brand Marketing and Creative leadership, set and execute the creative vision and tone for the brand, with an eye toward cultural relevance, artful design, and craft.

Oversee end-to-end creative development across campaigns, partnerships, retail, digital, and social, including presentation and sell-in to senior leadership from strategy through to execution.

Maintain brand consistency while driving innovation through compelling ideas and collaborations.

Establish end to end production processes for the department - from scoping and contracting, to pre/post production and resourcing

Lead and / or oversee key projects from concept through execution ensuring creative excellence, timeliness and budget alignment

Manage relationships with external creative partners (photographers, directors, stylists, hair, makeup, etc), helping drive creative vision.

Stay on top of trends and emerging technologies in beauty and content production, incorporating innovative ideas to advance Billie’s aesthetic and enhance brand storytelling.

Develop, manage, and optimize annual creative & production budgets to ensure the efficient allocation of resources across multiple content projects and team resourcing needs, providing regular updates and reports on budget status, actuals, production timelines, and resource allocation.

Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships at peer and leadership levels to ensure creative strategies align with overall brand and business objectives and facilitate execution.
What we’re looking for:

10+ years of experience in creative content production, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role (a plus if it’s within the beauty, bodycare, or consumer goods industry).

Proven experience managing creative teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Extensive experience in developing and executing content strategies across multiple platforms (broadcast, digital, social, print, experiential).

Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of creative work, particularly in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.

Exceptional creative vision with a deep understanding of current beauty trends, consumer behavior, and content consumption habits.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team toward successful outcomes.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and staying within budget.

Experience managing production budgets and allocating resources effectively.

General knowledge of creative software and tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The salary range for this position is $250K-$275K. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
