Billie is looking for a Director of Product Development, Innovation & Marketing to lead the overall product development and innovation strategy for Billie and help deliver on our mission to champion womankind. In this role, you'll ensure that we're always putting forward work that portrays Billie as fresh, brave, unique, thoughtful and highly shareable.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the origination and development of new product concepts and spearhead the exploration of new categories for Billie's expansion
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from initial brief to the first production run, collaborating closely with third-party manufacturers to ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of an exceptional product
- Create robust product concept pitches that build on and expand our existing product categories and ladder up to our overarching business goals
- Partner with the Brand Marketing team to enhance product messaging that effectively communicates Billie’s brand ethos and tone
- Collaborate with the Retail & Operations team to align on product launch timing and deliverables within all distribution channels
- Work closely with founders to evaluate and approve final product submissions
- Lead consumer and clinical claims testing
- Manage, inspire and develop a small team under Product Marketing & Innovation
- Work remotely with the flexibility to come into our office located in Lower Manhattan as needed
Who you are:
- 5-8 years of managing product development and marketing in a creative and fast-paced environment
- A successful track record in managing and leading a team in full-cycle product development
- An in-depth understanding of financial acumen and ability to analyze & leverage financial data to build clear, strategic product pitches
- Be passionate about all things product and have a general understanding of both the Luxe and Mass retail landscape and trends
- An ability to seamlessly blend creativity and strategic thinking
- Have a strong understanding of how to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data, as well as feel comfortable managing information-gathering initiatives related to product development

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
