Location:

Req ID:  6159
Job Type:
Edgewell is a global team of over 6,000 visionaries, doers and makers. Our secret is people, and we have an inspiring and collaborative global force of them. Our portfolio of over 25 brands touches lives in more than 50 countries by making useful things joyful. Paid Social Investment Lead

The Paid Social Investment Lead is a senior, strategy-first role sitting within the CMO org, responsible for shaping how our portfolio of brands shows up and performs across the paid social ecosystem. This person will not be placing buys directly — instead, they will serve as the internal expert and strategic authority, partnering closely with our agency to ensure flawless execution, rigorous accountability, and best-in-class results. Deep, hands-on platform experience is essential: this leader needs to know exactly what "great" looks like in order to QA agency work, challenge assumptions, and push our programs further. Equally important is their ability to build strong relationships with internal brand teams and senior stakeholders, translating complex social strategies into clear investment POVs that drive meaningful business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead enterprise-level discussions around holistic paid social investment allocation, ensuring integration across the broader marketing mix
  • Develop a portfolio-wide approach to paid social by establishing clear, defensible enterprise POVs on strategy, channel prioritization, and budget allocation
  • Provide strategic oversight of paid social programs, serving as the primary liaison between agency partners and internal brand teams — with enough platform fluency to rigorously QA agency output
  • Drive access to and activation of advanced platform capabilities across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snap, and emerging channels
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and best practices — synthesizing them into actionable ways of working and sharing them broadly across the org
  • Identify knowledge gaps among internal stakeholders and develop training and education approaches to ensure paid social best practices are understood and applied consistently
  • Hold agency partners to a high bar — fostering a collaborative relationship while driving accountability to performance and results
  • Ensure portfolio brands are operating at full capability within the social ecosystem — not simply maintaining presence, but actively competing for attention and outcomes
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leadership, helping shape each brand’s long-term paid social vision
  • Define and track clear KPIs for paid social investment across the portfolio, building roadmaps that connect today’s activity to long-term growth

Who You Are

  • A paid social native with 8–10+ years of experience, with deep expertise in Meta and TikTok and meaningful familiarity across other major platforms
  • At least 3–5 years of direct, in-platform experience — building campaigns, optimizing to KPIs, and translating performance data into stakeholder-ready reporting
  • A proven track record of developing and executing paid social strategies that deliver measurable, business-driving results
  • A strong cross-functional leader who can align internal stakeholders, influence without authority, and be the unifying voice in the room
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interrogate campaign performance data and make confident, data-driven decisions
  • An excellent communicator — equally comfortable presenting a strategic POV to a CMO as you are diving into the weeds with an agency team
