Position Title:      Retail Sales Representative – Quebec

Hours:                   32 Hour –Monday-Thursday- Part Time position

 

Position Purpose

 

This position is responsible for performing sales, merchandising and customer service functions on a regular call frequency basis to a selected list of accounts within an assigned region.  This position is part-time, paid on an hourly rate basis.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Verify our product distribution and planogram compliance.
  • Check the accuracy of retail prices.
  • Ensure stock rotation.
  • Identify any product breakage and make an order if necessary.
  • Verify the execution of our national and regional promotional programs.
  • Set up in store promotions.
  • Present and sell many volume generating programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key store personnel in order to strengthen the company.
  • Provide consistent feedback on competitor information to Retail Manager.
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings and company sales meetings as required.
  • Travel is required

Position Requirements

  • College/university degree or equivalent experience with 2 years of proven sales/merchandising experience in consumer-packaged goods.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels both within and outside the organization.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to organize and plan effectively
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft suite and comfortable with retail automation software.
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial vision of the development of its territory.
  • The position is based in Quebec, bilingual (French/English) is preferred. 
  • Ability and flexibility to change territory/customers.
  • Key relationships will include Retail Manager & Leader and Sales (internal) and store managers/buyers.
