The Supply Chain Analyst role is designed to enhance the customer collaboration and inventory insights through the use of analytics that will identify opportunities to improve customer-vendor supply chain efficiencies.  Manage and oversee the Customer’s inventory / service level expectations for replenishment and promotional activities at the Retailer’s DC and Store level with key collaboration between the Sales Team, Buyers, and Customer Inventory Analysts.  

 

Through the CPFR/Vendor Managed Order Process, the Supply Chain Analyst will manage the customer business requirements and align with the expectations of the Sales plans at Edgewell in determining the inventory needs by account through analyses of point of sale information, current on-hand inventory and expected demands.  The output from these analyses would include order creation and collaboration on product availability in accordance with the customer’s defined metrics and internal supply chain initiatives.   This individual would work closely with Commercial Team functions and report to the Customer Service Supply Chain Manager.

 

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Utilize Vendor Management Inventory and/or Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment business requirements that are aligned with customer expectations. 
  • Drive decision analytics to decouple upstream and downstream implications that range in order fluctuations, forecast inaccuracies, and other variations in consumption and supply
  • Manage the Retailer’s Inventory levels at DC / Store Shelf.
  • Partners with the Customer Replenishment/Inventory Personal
  • Analyzes supply chain performance in conjunction with VMI/CPFR customers’ systems/expectations to improve the joint supply chain metrics.
  • Prepare comprehensive inventory optimization opportunities designed to maximize shelf presence, growth, and new opportunities.
  • Conduct on-going business analyses including account specific reports, business reviews, new item tracking, pricing reports (ie. promo vs. non-promo pricing swings), internal metric tracking (ie. shipments, profit, supply chain, and forecasting), and other account score-carding requirements (ie. Ad activity tracking).
  • Analyze inventory optimization strategies and identify trends to improve growth and profitability
  • Conduct consumption driven analytics to improve sales strategies and inventory projections. Providing insight and understanding.
  • Ability to retrieve and analyze POS data to provide sales trends.
  • Works closely with Internal Cross Functional Teams/Demand Teams to align on forecasts needs.
  • Leads improvement initiatives that deliver enhanced supply chain performance and alignment with Cost to Serve strategies.
  • Lead collaboration processes to align on joint strategic businesses initiatives with Customers.
  • Exhibits proficiency in all key Customer systems and processes.

    Minimum Qualifications:

     

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Analytically driven/proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be self actuated and have the ability to adapt to change.
  • Computer literate.  Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Webex
  • Must have working knowledge of basic accounting functions/skills.
  • Willing to occasionally travel
