Perform a variety of tests on shaving related products. Testing is to written work instructions or instruction may be given verbally for non-standard test protocols.




  • Perform a variety of tests on shaving related products using a variety of household chemicals and using various test equipment including environmental chambers, mechanical equipment and assorted measurement
  • equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of blade edge quality conditions.
  • Write summary test reports using Word and Excel. Adhere to report standards to ensure uniformity of departmental results. Report formats include graphing and charting test results, adding photographs and creating data summary tables.
  • Operate automated inspection equipment like CMM's, Video Inspection Equipment and Profilers. Use custom fixturing and preprogrammed routines.
  • Perform limited statistical analysis such as: Standard Deviation, Averages, Max, Min, Gauge R&R's and
  • tests using software packages like Minitab.
  • Be able to comprehend and read product prints and demonstrate knowledge of product specifications-both dimensional and functional specifications.
  • Perform component inspection using visual standards and a wide variety if gauges.
  • Be well organized and able to work on more than one project at a time with minimal instruction.
  • Move and lift product onto skids and prepare for testing.
  • Perform continuous repetitive motions for a sustained period of time while testing product.
  • Be knowledgeable in Blue Print Reading. GDT a plus.
  • Demonstrate intermediate level Word and Excel skills.
  • Have at least 5 years working experience in product testing and in a quality position.
