Position Summary
This Procurement analyst role will create and support all analytical needs for the global third-party procurement team, including but not limited to areas of data driven insights via business intelligence report creation, cost and data modeling, and improving data warehouse processes. This position is expected to liaise closely with procurement category leads globally across multiple geographies and work cultures to enable category strategies.
This position can be remote, with the ability to travel to our offices on the East Coast as needed.
Specific Accountabilities
- Maintain 3rd party procurement pricelists in a centralized reportable format
- Develop structured pricelists/templates for future updates – develop macros to facilitate periodic price updates
- Maintain info records and accurate pricing / supplier data in system (SAP) – develop an automated update system for mass uploads, demonstrate SAP reporting capabilities for data gap analysis
- Build cost modeling with subcomponent details, linking to impact of commodity trends on prices, as well as build forecasting models for purchase price variance through Excel, SAP Business Objects, and/or PowerBI
- Create models for scenario planning and budgeting, including estimated impacts for volume shifts
- Build intelligence reports to benchmark global categories / SKUs, create correlation coefficient reporting at a SKU/Spec level to identify cost drivers
- Support / act as key liaison between third party procurement and procurement COE
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for automation and implementing solutions
- Leverage data, analytics, specifications, complexity and benchmarking to identify opportunities for category managers to drive cost savings, innovation, or supplier management improvements
- Connect system analytics and draw insights for spend, specifications, spend per SKU, specs per family etc.
- Build and maintain savings reports, addressable spend dashboards, contract status
- Support development of tools, process and Dashboard/scorecard reporting
Required Skills and Experience
- B.S. / B.A. degree in Business (or other related degree programs with data analytics),
- 1-3 years of experience in a business function with Business Analytics or related field
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global organization with minimum supervision and work in multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong Excel and database manipulation skills with the ability to create data models required, including macros, reporting functionality and complex formulations
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant technology systems including ERP (SAP reporting and transactions), e-Procurement, Spend Analysis, Business Objects and/or PowerBI
- Analytical Curiosity: Comfortable with and enjoys working in detailed data; logical, creative, puzzle-solving mentality
- Deliver objective, data-driven solutions with appropriate business perspective communicated in concise and understandable fashion

- Ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional stakeholders and team members

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Specific business intelligence support for procurement or supply chain
- Experience with process development
Working Relationships
- Reports directly to the Category Manager, Procurement and Sr. Level Procurement
- Close collaboration with internal cross functional groups (Procurement COE, Supply Chain)
- External suppliers and their organizations as needed
Working Environment
- Remote with ability to travel to Edgewell Locations (Connecticut) for specific meetings, or supplier location as required (less than 20%)
The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
