The primary objective of the Commercialization Director - NA is ensuring that the NA (US & CAN) Portfolio of Products is strategically and cross functionally aligned in the different stages of the lifecycle. This implies bringing knowledge, practices, analyses, initiatives and processes from the introduction to the end of the lifecycle of the products to support this endeavor.



  • Create Strategic Roadmap for NA PLCM and align with NA Supply Chain Directors
  • Cross functional alignment in Product Portfolio Management process for NA
  • Promote Cross Functional Alignment to achieve the Strategy in the Product Portfolio Design Process
  • Prepare and facilitate the NA Product Review Meeting as part of “One Forecast” / IBP (Integrated Business Planning) monthly process (offer strategic guidance to Lat-Am and APAC product reviews)
  • Prepare and Facilitate the NA Slobs Management Process
  • Product Portfolio Analysis in the different stages of the Portfolio to get insights and transform them to actions that ensure the continuous improvement of the product portfolio

    • Leaving the Market
  • Continuous analysis and improvement of the processes to cover GAPs in the execution of the process, RACI, cross functional alignment
  • Delivering clear business rules in SKU creation to manage the cost of doing business and simplify wherever possible launches for our supply chain
  • Strong focus on communication and simplicity of business rules to help reduce workload for marketing and reduce cost impact on Edgewell
  • Functional (Supply Chain) owner within the Go-to-Market (G2M) & New Product Introduction (NPI) management for NA
  • Provide Input to gatekeep Regional requests for new SKU’s looking to follow the Business Rules defined in the Portfolio
  • Ensure the local market is aware of lead-times and submit their new versions of local SKUs respecting lead-time to deliver to customers on time

Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business Management or related field, or Bachelor’s degree with additional Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • 10 – 15 years of experience in Supply Chain
  • 5+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Understanding of various components of SC including planning, manufacturing, procurement, order management, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Experience in Optimization models, and in continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in a Supply Chain/Product Development/ Project Management role
  • Experience Working in Cross functional Teams
  • Continuous learner, curious, embracer of change, enjoys collaborating, executes with efficiency
  • Strategic thinker with ability to build Long Term improvement plans
  • Customer focused with strong “needs identification” capacity
  • Able to translate complex data into insights, prepare clear visualizations to trigger actions
  • Proficient presentation skills.
  • Self-starter & initiative taker
  • Natural and experienced facilitator with a cross functional mindset and team working orientation
  • Strong Negotiator and Collaborator
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Power Bi, Microsoft Teams), SAP, JDA, SharePoint.


Desirable Education, Skills and Experience

  • Recognized Supply Chain professional (APICS, Oliver Wight or Similar) with vast experience and demonstrated skill set as per competencies below:



Working Relationships


  • Key relationships internally will include Supply/Demand Planning leaders, Customer Service leaders, W&D Leads, BU Leads, Sales Directors, Regional VP, IT, Plant Managers and Directors, 3rd Party Suppliers, and Quality.


Work Environment

  • May require some travel around NA
