Provides EPC-wide leadership on continuous improvement projects and programs related to Productivity 4.0 and Factory of Future. Provides leadership and support to the introduction of new solutions and processes.



The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads and coordinates cross-functional project teams, including external resources associated with continuous improvement projects specific to leading Productivity 4.0 and Factory of Future.
  • Leads and coordinates cross-functional project teams, including external resources associated with elimination of waste and movement of parts.
  • Pro-actively identifies opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve OEE through equipment and/or process improvement.
  • Identify and implement cost savings through alternative material handling solutions.
  • Provide technical input/solutions to EPC Plants.
  • Establishes and meets all project deliverables with respect to time, cost, documentation,

training, etc.

  • Directly mentor engineers as needed, and/or supervise other colleagues (i.e. skilled trade colleagues.)



  • Responsible for determining financial plans/projections and controlling spending within the scope of assigned projects and plant operation.
  • General support to other functions/activities as dictated by business needs.
  • Working Relationships: Production Departments, Plant Services, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Equipment Vendors, RD&E, PDT' s.
  • Works in an environment and culture in which Engineers will:
  • Foster Program Management, teamwork and synergy in relationships with other technical groups, Manufacturing, Q.C., and Logistics.
  • Be willing to recommend taking reasonable risks in order to gain improvement (timeliness, quality, simplicity, innovation) for new product activities.
  • Foster innovation of new products technically driven.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies.



  • BS required within related Engineering field
  • Ten years preferred of experience in a manufacturing environment and a demonstrated history of project management required.
  • Ability to manage technical resources and assign clear responsibilities.
  • Some design background and ability to recognize robust manufacturing principles required.
