POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform routine duties to maintain an inventory of components and materials for the Departments under the Molding Value Stream. Responsible for shipping finished goods and WIP from both Molding and IMS. Will verify all incoming materials and relocate the materials to the proper storage locations. Will verify shipping transactions are executed properly and report any discrepancies to Supervision or the designee identified by the area Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be able to lift loads and pull skids in order to obtain necessary parts for various operations from departmental storage. Move materials by hand or with hand truck and deliver to designated workstations. Be able to move (push, pull, or otherwise manipulate) materials up to 30lbs.
- Responsibilities include:
- Removing pans from the central conveyor and “Tote Goats.”
- Weighing parts on scales.
- Packaging parts (e.g., Wet Ones Lids).
- Moving pallets into drop zones and calling for “Remote Tow Motor AGV.”
- Utilization of Robo-wrapping.
- Store pallets in designated locations.
- Printing and labeling WIP and Finished Goods
- Providing assistance to other Molding team members as directed
- Must be able to certify in the use of Power Industrial Trucks, including Fork Truck certification.
- Must have basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Will be trained in SAP and be expected to become skilled in applicable functions and usage.
- Execute GMP paperwork, meeting “Right The First Time” (RTFT) requirements and conform to GDP standards.
- Provide timely feedback to team leader or area leads on inventory issues to avoid delays in production.
- Order needed materials from the warehouse using SAP or direct contact.
- Remove/place in plastic resin and colorants at machines.
- Provide timely feedback to area leads on schedules and communicate when schedules will end or complete so not to overrun jobs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and have Microsoft Office experience.
Salary Range: LG4 - $17.51 - $26.72 per hour, based on experience.
