Overview

We’re hiring Component Stamping Operators for our large, established manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on production role where manufactured components move through stamping, washing, and precision quality verification processes before becoming completed products. Depending on your station, you may load heavy metal coils, operate high-tonnage stamping presses, perform advanced laboratory-grade dimensional inspections, or make equipment performance recommendations.

The work is physical and fast-paced, requiring you to stay active, monitor multiple machine setups, and work alongside your team to meet strict quality and production goals. We are looking for dependable people who have a close attention to detail, are comfortable working with complex equipment, and are willing to certify across multiple process areas.

What makes this role different:

  • Variety of Work: Learn to run multiple 30-75 tonnage stamping presses, specialized coil handling systems, and laboratory measurement equipment
  • High-Tech Diagnostics: Build competitive skills in blueprint analysis, advanced industrial metrics tracking, and minor preventative equipment maintenance
  • Competitive employee benefits including medical, dental & vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Operation: Set up, monitor, and safely operate multiple 30-75 clip press tonnage stamping presses alongside related processing machinery.
  • Material & Coil Handling: Load and unload metal coils utilizing mechanical coil lifts, specialized winding/unwinding networks, and noise abatement systems.
  • Quality Checks & Lab Inspections: Perform routine part sampling and complex dimensional lab tests to verify absolute product compliance with blueprint specifications.
  • Tooling & Maintenance Support: Complete minor machine adjustments, follow preventative work orders, and actively assist Tool Makers with tooling setups and removals.
  • Process Cleaning: Mix, pump, and manage the in-department handling of solutions within ultrasonic aqueous cleaning tanks.
  • Inventory & Data Logging: Input and maintain digital production logs and quality metrics utilizing computer software like Word, Excel, and SAP.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain equipment and the shop floor in a clean, orderly state while following specialized EH&S procedures for flammables, spills, and safe equipment usage.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform physical, hands-on production work throughout a full industrial shift
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or manipulate material coils weighing up to 60 lbs. independently and up to 500 lbs. with assistance
  • Basic computer literacy with foundational competency using Microsoft Word, Excel, or SAP systems
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow intricate technical procedures and work instructions
  • Reliable attendance, teamwork mindset, and strong punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of manufacturing, assembly, metal stamping, or industrial pressroom experience
  • Demonstrated experience reading blueprints or technical engineering schematics
  • Prior experience using laboratory precision tools (micrometers, calipers, or digital measurement equipment)
  • Experience conducting preventative maintenance on industrial machinery or handling chemical/aqueous cleaning agents

Salary Range: $18.30 - $29.73
