We are looking for an experienced Demand Planner/ Supply Chain Planner to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men and recently acquired Jack Black… just to name a few!).
 
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the total market forecasts within their markets (Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey). The responsibility to develop and maintain statistical forecasts in the tool Manugistics will lie with the area team, but they will have direct responsibility to gather and challenge local market intelligence, input the market intelligence into Manugistics and understand and maintain cannibalization effects ensuring the right level of communication with the Area team to get the best possible total market forecast.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to

•    Work with Sales to collect data regarding promotional forecast, distribution gains and losses and new product launch forecast
•    Collaborate with area Centre of Excellence team in analysis of forecasts and forecast error reports to improve forecast accuracy (net error and absolute error).
•    Manage distributors in Spain, Greece, and Turkey: gather updated forecast per month and track sales vs forecast.
•    Collaborate with area Centre of Excellence team on new product set up and forecast, a common understanding on cannibalization effects, promo analysis, code switches and product allocation in case of capacity constraints
•    Collaborate with area Centre of Excellence team to continually review best practices of MANUGISTICS and other demand planning/ forecasting tools, processes, and procedures.
•    Coordinate the forecast requirements for co-packing (and where necessary co-packaging).


Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got? 
Ideally you will have some Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning and analytical experience gained within a Consumer Goods/ Cosmetics/ Retail Company.   
In addition, it would be great if you have the following skills and experience: 

•    Experience in a Supply Chain/ Demand Planning role.
•    Fluency in Spanish and English.
•    Ideally degree level educated
•    Experience with Microsoft Excel, Manistic and Power BI - desired
•    Team player with strong improvement focus
•    Ability to work within varied cultural teams.
•    Collaborative minded and strong communicator.
•    Customer focused with strong needs identification capacity
