We are looking for a dynamic experienced Senior Brand Manager who can bring energy and passion to the Edgewell Shaving Team. You will be self-motivated and results drive with strong commercial acumen and proven experience in all aspects of brand marketing. This is an exciting role to develop brand plans consistent with the Global Business Strategy, with the aim to maximise the growth opportunities through a unique understanding of the brand, consumer and shopper dynamics in the UK, Ireland & Nordics.

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

  • Support the UK Head of Marketing to develop a market brand strategy based on insight that drives brand awareness & penetration.
  • Responsible for the management, coaching and development of Junior Brand Manager.
  • Develop and own rolling 18m marketing plans that includes pricing, promotion, portfolio/product mix, local channel strategy and brand/media activity which are aligned to the global strategy and category behaviours. Ensure marketing plans deliver and ideally exceed volume, net sales & gross margin annual targets alongside brand health targets
  • Manage the marketing investment budget within agreed limits to deliver/brand business objectives across internal stakeholders & agencies
  • Develop engaging brand campaigns that operate TTL to drive ROS for retailers and Edgewell, executing the Global assets and adapting where required for UK/Nordics. Execution is critical and needs to be consistent from online to instore
  • Evaluate ROI across all key marketing activities (namely advertising creative, media investment, partnerships and major promotions) and extract key learnings & improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies
  • Work closely with EU Content & Digital teams to grow online media presence and increase brand awareness amongst targeted consumer groups and ensuring plans line up to overarching strategy
  • Engage key internal stakeholders on the brand positioning and key initiatives both informally and formally through Deep Dives, Sales & Marketing Meetings & Quarterly Reviews to ensure trade strategies are aligned to brand and business goals
  • Develop, gain approval for and implement launch plans for global NPD (and local line extension) initiatives. Manage the sell in of NPD to Sales and Key Retailers (Range Reviews) as well as full launch plans including pricing, core principles, 360 marketing plan, promotional plan and development of the trade story


Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got? 

We’re looking for someone with significant experience ideally gained within an FMCG or Cosmetics business. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.

Here’s what we are looking for:

  • Graduate level or equivalent in commercial related subject
  • Significant strategic level of marketing and brand experience, significant experience in FMCG
  • Strong commercial acumen to demonstrate growth mindset
  • Experience in line management
  • Experience managing budgets with multiple agencies to develop 360 brand campaigns including: ATL, Digital, Social, Activation, BTL, Media Buying and PR
  • Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external third-party partnerships, demonstrating excellent communication & influencing skills
  • Proven ability to manage substantial budgets effectively and allocate as necessary based on activation and ROI
  • Proven track record in the successful delivery of NPD launches, developing the commercial value chain and executional plans fit for market and channel
  • Strong project management experience and execution skills
