We are looking for an experienced Professional to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).

You are an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial category manager, with a strong track record in category management roles. You understand how to shape brand and sales strategy through data, and how to influence retailers with confidence and clarity. Your energy and proactive approach will result in firm business transformation. You’re excited to take the next step in your career and step into a role that makes you a critical part of the brand and commercial team. You’re looking for ownership of brands and categories – and the opportunity to drive real impact in results
You will have responsibility for the UK&I category agenda for 2 brands from our portfolio. The CM recognised for their commercial insight, moving from insight generation to action, and in-store execution – working closely with retailers, internal teams, and agency partners.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
- Lead the full category management cycle for your brands: insights, strategy, range, space, execution, and review
- Translate data from Nielsen, Dunnhumby, Kantar, and Circana into clear, compelling recommendations
- Build and manage planograms and space optimisation projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and external partners
- Manage budgets, suppliers, and timelines for data-related projects
Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Has 3+ years’ experience in FMCG category or shopper insight
- Proactively identifies opportunities within data and turns it into easily digestible insights
- Brings a confident, commercially aware approach to retail engagement
- Can lead conversations with UK retailers and shape joint business thinking
- Looks for opportunities, efficiencies and willing to drive chang
- Familiar with category tools (e.g. Nielsen, Circana etc)
- Comfortable prioritising and making decision independently
- Relentless focus on execution
- Strong presenter, with the ability to turn data and recommendation into easily digestible presentations & commercial stories
